Description
Ultimate Resource Pack from Serious Sam 3. (Fusion Version)

Mapper's resource pack for Serious Sam 3, now ported to Fusion, by Solais, viper45, NHunter, Devostator, Batandy and many others of the Seriously! community.

Attention! Many Survival maps will need this pack to work, so I suggest downloading it.

-Description-

This pack adds additional enemies, items, ammo boxes, ammopacks and many other miscellaneous resources to the game. If you are a mapper, you can use these resources freely on your map, since that's why they were made for.

-Contents-

The main "attractions" of this Resource pack are the incredible amounts of new enemy variations and even some completely new enemies! You want to see the old Beheaded Firecracker and Bomber on your levels? How about the Hell Knight and the Baron of Hell from Doom? Maybe lots of Biomechanoids in the color of the rainbow? Huge scorpions? Drones, floating eyeballs? You can find all those things and more in this pack!
There are also other items, like a +200 health pack, and new infinite ammo boxes for all the ammo types!
There are now SSHD-style Ammopacks!
There's even a few Friendly Scorpions in the pack and a Healing Drone, originally made for a map of mine (Scorpion Fort 2).
There are also a test map, called AddonTestLevel.wld inside the Content/ folder, what you can use to test the pack. There's a separate version for the DLC only!

Now also contains Mischievous' NPCs Resource!

Description: Mass produced unmanned machines used for reconnaissance, hit-and-run attacks and fast raids. The main part of the Drones is their highly noticable sphere shaped core. Inside this is a storage of energy that fuels their tiny microchip processor, programmed with a simple AI for movement and attack. This core was then fitted with a steel shell that protects the energy, then this sphere was fitted with various cheap extensions that can make the AI Drones quite versatile on ground, under water or in the air.

Yeah, I had familiar issues when testing my maps. All files are there BUT the game does not say if it downloaded the enemy parameters locally from your own PC so if you forget to add a file, you don't know it until someone else comes to say it :steamsad:
MAPPERS CHECK THAT YOUR PC DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING ON FOLLOWING FOLDERS:
"\Content\SeriousSam3\Databases" , Models, etc
and then test the mod if it works.

In general, I went to the test level, as they say in the mod description, to check the models... Reptiloid is not there at all, it does not exist! Also, one of the last levels of Serious Sam 3: Towards the Syrian Gate does not load and complains about this resource pack that it does not have the “Scope” and “Eraser” weapon models (this did not mean anything). I checked other levels for the presence of models from this resource pack - everything is there, except for the next "reptiloid".

I tried reaching out to the mod creator for help - zero response (I understand him, what reaction should there be when an unknown person contacts you). If anyone is reading this, please fix it. Currently, this resource pack has been used in mods such as:

- BFE Enhanced
- Serious Sam 3: Towards the Sirian Gate

I understand that the game is old, but as a fan of such a great game, I would like to appreciate the creations of modders, so please, fix this..."

This time, the reptiloid file failed to load, specifically its 'Puppets' parameter. At this point, I decided to investigate further - I opened the model of this reptiloid in the editor to make sure everything was okay with the mod. What do you think? Is everything okay with it? No! The enemy model is entirely missing, the animation is broken, and all that's in the folder for this enemy is the texture of the reptiloid from the first part of Serious Sam HD. I entered the level to see the model of this reptiloid in the actual level... Instead of the enemy, there was a blue box, clicking on which revealed that it should be a reptiloid, but there were no parameters responsible for animation, attack, etc., in the properties. In general, I am very disappointed with the mod, and even more disappointed that modders use this resource pack to create cool levels, but they simply don't load due to the poorly made mod.

"Unable to play. Firstly, I encountered an issue where the first level simply wouldn't launch because the game files lacked the 'Portal' effect, and the level wouldn't load without the 'Portal.pfx' file (console error: Content/SeriousSam3/Levels/BFEEnhanced/01_CairoSquare_Enhanced.wld: Cannot open file Content/SeriousSam3/Presets/Effects/Generic/Portal.pfx). Well, I'm not a fool, so I got ahold of an editor, downloaded it, and added this effect from some other file. (As far as I could tell, it was an explosion effect. Ironically, where the portal effect should be, there's an explosion... Maybe...) The level started, everything was fine. I played to my heart's content, enjoyed the new content... But once the level was completed, it was time to load a new level, and 'bam' - another error!
