Costume Guide

This guide will hopefully help you get all the costumes in the game and get the achievement

Explorer Costume

Start with this costume.

Master Explorer Costume

Talk to the master explorer after a certain point in the game (According to decimus28 it is after 27 medallions)

Cozy Canyon - Green Costume

In order to get this costume from the start stay along the left wall until you see the water wheel. Swim up to it and let it pull you under the wheel to get this costume.

Magma Mountain - Mime Costume

From the Start follow the path to the left.
Once you see the ruins go in the direction of the left corner of the ruins.










The costume will be behind the corner of the ruins and the tree.

Sinking Sands - Zombie Costume

From the start go to the fountain in front of you and look up and to the right, you will see a red water tower, it is on top of the red water tower.










To climb the tower start by climbing its ladder and then go around and jump on the pipe sticking out and then jump to the top.

Crystal Caverns - Silver Costume

To get this costume you must choose "the Pit" medallion. Go down into the pit and find the boss room. When the boss room entrance is on your left continue straight.




















At the fork at the end go right.










Follow the path till you see a red crystal. The costume is behind the red crystal

Snowland - Blue Outfit

To get this outfit when you enter the portal on the right of the snowland island, the outfit is in the entrance to the igloo. From the start if you look at the snowflake portal, the igloo is behind the right side of the archway.

Gold Costume

Get all of the explorer medallions and then go to the new gold statue that unlocked in the sky to retrieve the costume. (decimus28 also pointed out that this costume does not go in the ship with the others and must be put on by going to the statue each time you wish to use it)

i found a space helmet on the moon by defeating a slime. i am uncertain if it's for the costume achievement, but it gave me hat kid achievement.

One other thing about the Gold Costume, it doesn't go into the cabin with the rest so if another costume is equipped it will revert back to being at the gold statue.

well then Thank you for your effort I really appreciate it, and hopefully it helps to clear up any ambiguity around the master outfit and unlocking the ability for them. And also to mention the statue was in the sky ( it was mentioned before in comments i just forgot to edit the guide back then).

Gold statue is in the sky after beating the game. Also ability to unlock costumes(and Master Explorer Costume) unlocked at 27 medallions.
