Gore and guts have never turned me away from any form of entertainment, be it a game or a graphic novel. Moreover, I see it bringing in a fresh aspect to the platform genre itself, which I wouldn't call the most violent... at least in graphic way. Riptale seems to have an interesting take on combat as well, which requires more skill than just smashing buttons in.
Overall, I'm looking forward to see this game get a full scale release within the next months. I wonder if there's any lore in for myself to devour in, too...
I think the blood effects could use a bit more work though and I always hate the gif as cover art, I don't even know why this is possible, but aside from that you probably should be on Steam.
