All Endings and Dummy Finger Solution (including Video)

Overview of the different endings and how to get them.
The solution for the Dummy Finger Riddle which unlocks the Dirty Coin.

True Ending

• Enter the secret passage by crouching by the fire place and using the switch.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Take the fuse and use that on the fuse box on the wall of the starting room.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Head upstairs and call down the steps to access the attic.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Go through the door and grab the Basement Key from the table.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Head back downstairs and interact with the door to the right of where you start to enter a new location.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Use the Basement Key on the gate at the end.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Go down into the basement, and go through the door.
  
• A monster will spawn and you must escape the basement with the Attic Window Key from the shelf without getting hit.
  
  I recommend to grab the valve and directly go back to the door (the monster will spawn behind you).
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Jack Baker will stop you from leaving.
  
  
  Spam "F" until you kicked against the door once, immediately after quick turn around "X" and run into the corner of the room and use one of the hanging body bags to stun the monster.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Move back to door to kick it again, it will be unblocked now and you can leave the room. The monster will disappear. Reenter it and go into smaller room on the right and grab the Attic Window Key from the shelf.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  The monster will spawn again, so leave the area fast.
  
  
• Head back to the attic and use the key on the window to escape.
  

Infected Ending

• Follow the steps of the True Ending and while doing so get hit by the monster in the basement.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• As soon as you reach the ladder in the attic with the Window Key the infection will completely spread.
  

Back Door Ending

• Find the Bolt Cutters by the back door.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Open the chained cabinet, take the video tape.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Insert the tape into the VHS player in the starting room
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Watch it to the end
  
• In the 'present' open the passage via the fireplace switch
  
• Take the Back Door Key.
  
• Use this on the back door where you found the Bolt Cutters.

Phone Call Ending (only on console version)

• Enter the secret passage by crouching by the fire place and using the switch.
  
• Take the fuse and use that on the fuse box on the wall of the starting room.
  
• Head upstairs.
  
• Press the button to call down the steps.
  
• Answer the phone in upstairs attic.

Dummy Finger Solution

If you want to finish the game also with the true ending I suggest you follow the steps mentioned in the True Ending section until you have the Attic Window Key.
Before you go inside to the monster take the Picklock which is on the other side of the door.










Before or after you go into the basement, there is a drawer in the hallway where you have to take the Blank Notebook.










Go through the kitchen to the backdoor and take the Bolt Cutters and open the chained cabinet, take the Video Tape.








While you are in the kitchen use the Picklock to open the locked drawer to get an Axe.










Next you need the Dummy Finger which is located next to the stairs which leads to the attic.










The final object you need is the Object Made Of Celluloid which is in attic, hidden behind some TV's (opposite site where you got the Basement Key from).










Combine the Dummy Finger and the Object Made Of Celluloid to get the Dummy's Left Hand. Read the red text on the wall next where you found the Object Made Of Celluloid.










On the ground floor, next to the stairs there is a fallen bookcase. Point the Dummy's Left Hand at the bookcase until it vibrates.










Next go again upstairs and go round the corner in the corridor and look at the light to hear a noise.










Now go again down into the basement In the monster room, go to the body bag on the stretcher and point the Dummy's Left Hand at it.










The next step is to hit the portrait of the woman with the bag on her head, which is located at the stairs which leads to the attic.










Go into the small room under the stairs with the voodoo dolls and point the hand at the door.










Next look at the black mirror which is next to the small room under the stairs. Do a quick-turn "X".










Head into the attic and go to the back left corner. Locate the blue and white wires above the bed. Point the Dummy's Left Hand until it vibrates on it.










Pick up the phone.










Go to the basement where you found the Attic Window Key and watch the doll on the floor (crouch).










Finally, go back to the kitchen and point the finger on the pot.










Now you have all five murders solved and collected the notes in the Notebook, the door in the corner of the Attic is unlocked and you can claim your reward.

As you can see, in this video , the guy had the same problem with the doll.

I would also recommend dealing with the monster differently, as it is very likely you will get hit using the method described here. Once you go down into the basement, grab the valve, spam F on the door until it's fully open and dash out as quickly as possible. Then use the valve on the pipe in the bathroom to get a gun. You can find ammo for it sticking out of a cabinet and in the drawer you can open in the same room. You can find more in the hallway outside the bathroom (it's on the shelf) and underneath the stairs leading to the basement. There is also some under the bed in the attic. Once you feel you've collectected enough of it, go back down into the basement, pick up the key and shoot the monster that spawns behind you. I think the game might be bugged, as that thing will keep walking towards you, but can no longer hit you.

This guide needs some work. So first off - the phone ending is only available on consoles. 2nd: After thinking the game was bugged and watching numerous guides, it turns out you need to play the VHS tape and see a little girl in a white dress before the doll would trigger.

I can't get the doll to trigger. I went back and got everything with the giggles and stuff like that but this one just won't trigger. I got the gun too so I don't know if that's why.
