The controller is made of laser-cut hard board and off-the-shelf parts. I can make them in any quantity. So, I do not need to "manufacture" a bunch of controllers when I'm not sure how they will sell. The risk and waste is minimized in that way. This game was originally just going to be a keyboard game, but I decided to try making the controller and I decided that it really needed to be made available because it is so much fun.

I wasn't quite looking at it that way, though you're definately probably right. I think it's extraordinary you're taking the "DDR-Based" gaming genre to the PC with hardware that will enhance the game play ... but what if the game fails? Far be it from me to wish death upon any project, but if the game fails, then we're just stuck with a 10-button do-nothing desk clutterer.

Can you talk to us/me more about the controller itself? I'm a manufacturing nerd, and I'm kind of interested in hearing about how you would use game sales to gauge controller production. That, and hardware specs.

Yep. It turned out to be by far the funnest way to play.

Maybe I misunderstand, but you've already developed a dedicated controller for a game that's not even Greenlit yet?

OK, understood. I think those feedbacks are just an effect used to improve the design. It is just obvious from the menus even that it is not a mobile port, also I dont think hitting 3 notes at the same time would be posible on phone like it is shown here.

"Dragon and wilco, HOW is this a mobile port? I dont get it."

The description used to read tap the notes (or similar) and the feedback of notes hit in the video looks like taps on a touchscreen device.
