Mid levels: Vault Stun enemies, get some space and Flurry Kill them. After a bit of practice this will make fighting groups of tough enemies (such as a Defender Captain's gang) very easy.
High level: Spam daggers, blocking when needed, and Combat Brand whenever you can (if you are high enough at 5x hit streak you can Combat Brand twice) and use your abilities (Storm of Urfael = unlimited executions, Flame of Azkâr = unlimited Elf-shot, Focus, and Fire Arrows, Shadow of Acharn = invisible and Stealth Kills/Stealth Brands) in the rare scenarios you are in a tough spot..
For fighting Captains...
Vault Stun or Wraith Stun, Flurry Kill, Ground Execution, use Executions whenever possible and all Captains of any types will be slain immediately unless they are one of the rare ones with the good Traits (the most fun Nemeses).
After three-four flashes you can hit groups of ten-twenty Uruks and your ordinary melee atacks will oneshot. Trying to aim shadow strike and fire arrow in close combat is stupid.
