Dodge the Bullets Alpha V0.97
Dodge the Bullets Alpha V0.16
Hi we on GUPA Software are working on a game we call Dodge the Bullets.

The player is a small capsule with a small object that acts like a gun. You run around in a 3D world but you can only play in 2D. The world is just a surface that are stretched backwards with trees on it so it looks like it a long world. Over you there spawns enemy guns that will shoot at you (therefore Dodge the Bullets). You can shoot the enemy guns with your gun. On the ground where you run around there will spawn ammo boxes and medic kits that you can pick up. In the top left corner, there is a timer counting the time you survives. In the bottom right corner, there are a health bar and a text field that shows how many bullets you have left.

In the main menu you have the possibility to start the game, go to settings, go to high score menu and exit the game. If you press the start game button, you have the possibility to go to the difficulty selection menu or the store. In the difficulty selection menu you have the possibility to select beginner, easy, medium, hard and expert and the press “begin” to begin the game. In the store you can chose if you want to upgrade your player, upgrade your gun, buy a new gun or buy another landscape to play in.

In the high score menu you can see your best-survived time, best score (your score will be multiplied with values depending on the severity), best score in total and most kills for the different severities. In the settings, you can change the volume for the music and the guns, explosions, pick up sounds etc. (we will of course add more features)

Truly a modern masterpiece, sure we've seen people to try to re-invent the shooter genre like Doom, or Call of Duty, or Battlefield but nobody has payed attention to that masterpiece that has been brewing in the backround, Dodge the Bullets, is the most innovative cutting edge game I've seen to date. The game takes full advantage of the Unity 3D engine and makes the absolute prettiest models using the cutting edge technology we know as MS PAINT. This game is sure to set the bar far higher then any other shooter has ever been able to reach. Activision, EA, and all the other big publishers will obviously be flocking to this game trying to get in on the art that we all know as Dodge the Bullets.

Good concept super skyderen. A bit of polishing on the graphics side will give the game a good boost. All the best.

Hi Ryarod the projectiles speed are going faster for each difficulty you are selecting. If the game ever gets on greenlight we on GUPA Software thinks that the price will be about 0,49 - 1,99 Euro or 0,5 - 2 Dollar.

Anyway, I think you might have me for this one. that said, I hope you don't mind my saying that, with what we're currently seeing, I'd not be willing to pay more than fifty cents.

I actually am interested in this. A lot of bullet hell games, quite mercifully, make each projectile bright and slow. From what I gather, the projectiles in this game will be more difficult, more challenging, to spot and keep track of; and I'm guessing (hoping) that they'll go faster with higher difficulty.

So, basically, we have a bullet hell game here that provides a closer experience to dodging *actual* bullets. That is surprisingly scarce on the market, and I for one am interested. The simple art actually is kind of plus; it gives it kind of a sincere, bare-bones sort of feel. I for one would be using this as a practice program for dodging bullets in other games, so that fits very well, in my opinion.
