That info should help out for those using it.
Myself I just use Razer Cortex https://www.razerzone.com/ca-en/cortex
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_FHD4Sdcv8
It works fine with the enbs, reshades and sweetfx setups. Also it runs fine as a side by side with geforce experience. Then with nvidia control panel I use MFAA for games that support it and DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution)
In the bottom left corner click AD . A window will pop up asking you for the directory of the .exe you want to ad.
Step 2
As soon as you made your choice and confirmed it hover your mouse to the right hand side of the RTSS and activate the (normally -say in the global profile- rather deactivated) settings called "Stealth Mode" and "Custom Direct3D Support".
NOTE:
As usual the "Application Detection Level"should be kept at "low".
Step 3
In case a program is bitchy repeat step 1&2 with any other .exe that program needs/uses
Done.
Cheers mate
Alternated / alternating dynamic link libraries (.dll) -espeially from d3d9 ["directX9"] will cause trouble as long as MSI Afterburner toghether w/ RTSS, or RTSS standalone are/ is running.
But it won't stop there.. I just ran into crashing HELPER apps such as Controller Companion or even the profile manager for my mouse {Cyborg R.A.T. 9 from MadCatz}
The solution that helped me, was to create a new profile/setting in RTSS...!
Make sure to download and install the latest version of RTSS. compare the one that ships w/ the MSI Afterburner to the standalone. Sometimes the bundle is ahead, sometimes not.
i7-6700k
gtx 1080
16gb ddr4
always crashing with your mod. tried alternate d3d9.dll and renaming the dxgi.dll.
