Breton 50% Magic Resist

bretons OP before this mod? i have to disagree... the 25% magic resistance can easily be matched by any race via skill tree and/or stand stone buff early in the game. the dragonskin ability doesn't negate magic damage, so you still take damage for a slight and temporary magic regen. if you take a serious look at the other races and thier abilities, things can be quite balanced. bretons just get a lil resist boost from the start that anyone can match.

I had a version up that just changed the load screen, but people were more annoyed than anything else by it, so I took it down. As for this being a cheat, I have to disagree. I'm playing a Breton mage now and still have to run and chug potions when I'm getting hit by spells.

wait, why not just change the load screen to state the correct 25% resistance? This makes them even more over powered than ever, you'd never choose any other class for anything ever. This should really be put under the cheats category.

I like this mod because it adds a little challenge to my argonian Mage game. I want to actually have to figure out how to work around racial benefits of others.

Their racial passive game wise is supposed to be 25 but the loading screens are typoed. Still a nice mod, but I can see where 50% magic resistence would be a bit over powered. They probably thought the same but never changed their loading screen trivia.

Not really a problem, but an oversight. The loading screen references them having 50% resist, while they only have 25% from their racial passive.

I'm confused. Is there a problem with Skyrim's code that negate's the magicka resistance perk from Breton Blood?

I don't consider it over-powered, since that's the resistance they were supposed to have.
