Wrath of the Lamb is the DLC from the original Isaac. 'The Binding of Isaac' is a completely different game from 'The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth'. The original was a flash game, then after it became super popular the creator decided to remake it from scratch on a more powerful engine, and that became Rebirth. There is a story, but it's told within the gameplay and a few cutscenes here and there. There's no big story arch spanning between the two games.

Okay, but what about Wrath of the Lamb and how does that one fit in chronologically? :)

I've completed the base game and then just now its first DLC, Afterbirth. Afterbirth+ is the second and final DLC that just released about a week ago. So far I've been really enjoying it.

Sounds great! I haven't even been on a TBOI ride yet......one of few RPGs I could really be interested in I think. So you're done after-Birth+ (:P)?
