Supply Drop Event

Description
THE SUPPLY DROP EVENT
======================

Provides a fourth event type to be placed in the scenario editor.

With this mod you have now a tool at your disposal that will allow you to spawn supplydrops (1-4 stack) driven by a trigger without having to code one single line or manually editing the scenario file.

Instructions:
Place the new "Event Supplydrop" in your scenario, link it at will with a trigger. The properties window of this new event allows you to enter up to four supply drop loadout configuration filepaths. Those loadouts will be spawned once you open the hatch of a landed supply module.

If you enter only three paths, a 3x stack will be spawned, two paths, a 2x stack, etc.

In the upcomming Version:
- File dialog that allows the user to select a load out configuration file.
- Special tool to visually create custom load out configuration files (might be a seperate addon)

Compatibility
This mod changes a couple of standard files. It won't work with mods that change one of those script files:
- campaign/gameobjectsdecl.h
- campaign/gameobjectsimpl.h
- entities/events.h
- entities/eventsfuncs.h
- entities/configs/events/configreader_spawn.h
- scenarioeditor/scn_objcopy.h
- scenarioeditor/scn_objpaste.h
- scenarioeditor/scn_readimpl.h
- scenarioeditor/scned_prop_events.h

If you are the author of such a mod that uses one or more of these files, let me know and we should come up with a way for a coexistence.

Caution:
This mod is still somewhat in a beta status. Even though I tested it extensively, no amount of test can be enough. If you encounter a crash during game start, or loading/saving scenario etc. please don't yell at the devs in the forums. First, disable this mod. If you can't start the game, disable it via launcher. If the crash still persists, it's probably not the mod, otherwise let me know in the comment section or the discussion page for this mod.

Known bugs
- Accidently overrides the model for the FX event (it looks weird now), will be patched soon

Hi, I subscribed to the mod and activated it in the addons menu. On restart the game crashes before the splash screens unless I deactivate the mod in the launcher. Is it something I've done wrong?

cool. It only faile donce. I have been playing for a bit so I think this was a TKOM issue reloading after mod injection. So we should be good at the moment. If I can reporduce the error I will gather the requested info.
