Get the coin in under 8 Min 100% Working Speedrun

This detailed in depth guide will help you to obtain the dirty coin and true ending in the Resident Evil 7 demo for the PS4, Xbox One and PC in under 8 minutes time.

These are all the steps that need to be done in order to trigger all giggles and solving all five murders.

1. Collect the Fuse and put it into the Fuse panel.

2. Go right to the hallway and collect the blank notebook.

3. Now go to the entrance and collect the dummy finger along the way, then grab the bolt cutter and
get the VHS tape from the chained up cupboard.

4. Head upstairs, activate the ladder to the attic and grab the
basement key to the left from the table.

5. Now turn right, go to the wall and read the text (giggle)
also grab the celluloid hand from behind the TVs left.
Combine the Dummy Finger with the Celluloid Hand.

6. Go back downstairs to the collapsed cupboard and
point the finger at it. 1st murder solved !

7. Do a quick turn and go upstairs again to the end
of the corridor and look up at the lamp there (giggle).

8. Run back downstairs, into the hallway and open up the
door with the basement key. Collect the lockpick left
ontop of the boiler.

9. Enter the basement and point the finger at the corpse on the
stretcher. 2nd murder solved.

10. Turn right and be very quick as the monster will
spawn behind you once you collect the attic window key.

11. Quickly do a quick turn and run for the door, press it
once then go behind a hanging corpse, wait for the
monster and throw the bag against him. Go back to
the door and press it twice to force open it.

12. Now go all the way back to the kitchen and unlock
the drawer with the lockpick and collect the handaxe.

13. Use the handaxe on the picture with the hooded woman
to the right of the staircase (giggle).

14. Run to the room under the staircase and point the finger
at the nailed door. 3rd murder solved.

15. Now turn around to the mirror and when you face the black mirror
do a quickturn (Down+Circle PS4, Down+B Xbox1, X PC) giggle.

16. Run upstairs to the attic and point the finger at the wires
above that black pipe. 4th murder solved.

17. Do a quick turn and its very important that you pick up the
phone to trigger the 5th and final giggle in the basement.

18. Run all the way back down to the basement where you
escaped from the monster and look at the doll on the floor
where you collected the window key (giggle).

19. Now run back to the kitchen and point the finger at the
pot, you don't even need to open it. 5th and final murder solved.

20. Once you solved all five murders head upstairs to the attic
and open the white door to the right with the bloody handprints on it.

21. The dirty coin is pinned to a chair together with a message.
Now dont forget to head up the ladder to the window and use
the window key to finish the demo and get the true ending.

had to do it 3 times, the 3rd time seemed to of work, think it had to do with not picking up the valve handle and not killing the monster in the basement

You have to pick up the Phone AFTER you have solved the 4th murder and it will trigger in the basement!

Nope, didnt work, followed it word for word and when i go to look at the doll it bloody doest giggle.

uhrm try to reset the game, you can even get the coin if you get hit by the monster you just wont get the true ending instead you will get the infected ending but the coin will be saved, cheers ^^

Ugh. Just realised my game froze and i didn't grab the key.

How come when i went back downstairs the monster returned and hit me? This didn't happen the first time i did this.
