How to get a Gold Username! [RIP]

Simple guide showing you how to make your username golden!

This guide will show you how to get golden text for your username like so:

You can not get banned for having golden text, evidence is shown here. However, I'll still say do this at your own risk.

How to get Golden text

First step:

First download this project[github.com]

 
Extract the .zip file you received from that download.

Second step:

Download the second nessary file being here[nodejs.org]

 
Next click the download for "recommended for most users" button to download Node.

Lastly, install Node to a preferred location

Third Step:

Next open CMD like so:

 
Just search for CMD and you should see the option shown in the picture. Next just open it.

Now, first type in "CD " into the command prompt. Remember the space after "CD" or this will not work. Then drag your extracted file from earlier into the console shown below. Lastly, press enter.

 
Next, type in "npm install" and hit enter.

 
Lastly, will type "node index.js [username] [password]".

For [username], put your Steam username, not vanity (community) username. Your real Steam username.
For [password], put your Steam password.

Also, do not include the brackets in the command/string.

Then press enter and you'll be prompted with "Steam Guard App Code", you'll have to type that in too and you'll be finished.

 
You'll have golden text for your username and details now.

 



Please keep aware this program must be running to have your golden text active meaning if you restart your computer for example, you'll have to repeat these steps.
