FC 4 modding mini guide

A mini guide to my mod build. This is primarily for my own use and reference, but if anyone would like to duplicate it feel free.

Mod downloads and installation.

• Far Cry 4 Enhanced Nightmare Mod[www.nexusmods.com]
  
  Installation Directory: Far Cry 4/data_win32. Make a backup of the patch_hd and patch_hd.fat
  
  
• Far Cry 4 Sweetfx database[sfx.thelazy.net]
  
  This is for reference where you can pick and choose a config suitable for yourself or sample diff ones which I highly recommend doing. I prefer Cinematic A.F.[sfx.thelazy.net] as it makes things look sharp and, in some places, photorealistic or close to it, in my opinion anyways. If you want to try it and everything is ridiculously bright tone down the in-game contrast to suit your taste.
  
  
• Vibrant Realism - FXAA+Vibrance[sfx.thelazy.net]
  
  Download the preset from the http://ge.t..... site and don't worry about the warning if you get one, I analyzed the file on Virustotal and it is safe. Place the files into your Bin folder with the .exe.
  
  Take SweetFX_Settings_Far Cry 4_Vibrant Realism - FXAA+Vibrance.txt and delete the description on teh top so that the top of the file is teh same as the top of the SweetFX_Settings.txt file then rename SweetFX_Settings_Far Cry 4_Vibrant Realism - FXAA+Vibrance.txt to SweetFX_Settings.txt and copy and replace.
  
  The preset I chose does work on Windows 10. Press Scroll Lock to toggle Sweetfx on and off to check if it is working for you.
