I stumbled upon a Reddit post (link below) tonight after work and immediately had to go download the small indie experience and immediately drop my two pokemon obsessed girls into the game... Without telling them what I was dropping them in...

After all the hesitant bombardment of skeptical questions: "Is it horror?" "OMG the moon isn't going to fall on my head, is it?" I finally got them in the game and it didn't disappoint.

I wish I had a mixed reality set up because seeing their body language and physical reactions to being able to pet Pikachu really added to the experience. I always love when I can get any of them into VR and get the desired reaction out of them.

Anyway, the game is called Pokemon Amie VR which the creator says is short for Pokemon Amie experience for VR. As you can see above, you get to pet and feed Pikachu.

Sadly there wont be any other Pokémon as the dev just made this project as a way to kick back and unwind and doesn't want any legal trouble with Nintendo.

Personally, I say Nintendo should give this guy a job and open up a VR department... but that's just my wet dream of running around Pallet Town with my own Charmander from Prof. Oak...
