Runestone Keeper Achievements

Having troubles with vague achievement descriptions? Hope this can be of help.

Introduction

Note that this guide is not completed. I uploaded this before it's finished because of how frustrating and tempting to give up the game's achievements can be. I will be updating and finishing the guide in the next few days.


Control + F to bring up the search bar and type in a specific achievement name for convinience.

Progression

These achievements can be easily obtained through progression, don't worry if you don't have them yet; just keep playing and you'll get them soon enough. (:

See that glowing stone sitting on a tile? Click it!


Believer
Believe in a God

Click on an abandoned God statue (As shown in the achievement art) and believe in the God.


Déjà vu
Who's this little fella?

Everytime you die, you leave behind a sword half buried in the ground that can be discovered in the next run on the same floor. Clicking on it will restore some health, mana and a few random items from the previous run.

General

These achievements may require you to do some specific actions, but are not particularly too hard to get. You might even luckily (or unluckily) get a few of these without trying.

Hallowmas?
Killed by a monster explosion


Get killed by this monster's passive explosion after 3 moves.

You can unequip your weapon/armour and hit the monster so that you don't do much damage to the monster while it does to you. Proceed to adjust between equiping and unequiping your stuff in the next 3 moves so that it's explosion does enough damage to kill you.















The Evil Within
Die from the Lich quest

This can be obtained by encountering a certain event, being this. Pick an outcome that causes Instant death and the achievement should pop. (Sourced from wiki)

"You find a gem-encrusted skull while searching around these rocks. The two striking emeralds on the eyes are decorated with golden trim. Based on your knowledge, you believe it is a lich. But why would a lich be here? While you're contemplating the skull, the emeralds begin to emit red beams all around you. A hollow voice jumps out of the skull. You are imprisoned before you have time to react. "Ah, what an ideal specimen. Stranger, I've been waiting for someone in this skull for more than ten thousand years! Now I am going to chop your useless head off and steal your valuable body."
"Stop! This body is worthless without its head!"
"Wait! I could help you find your Phylactery!"
"I swear to you" -> Cursed by Lich -> -10 Max Soul
"I can't give you the guarantee" -> Instant Death
"I'm sure you have some sort of safety mechanism set it place on your reliquary. I would be an idiot to try and destroy it." -> Max Mana +1
"Wait and see how it goes." -> Instant Death
"Could you at least tell me why you are desperately trying to find a body? Maybe I can help you!" -> Cursed by Lich -> -10 Max Soul

Tattoo Related

Non Wasted
Soul point reach 80

God of Devastation's third tattoo grants you +20 max soul points. That combined with your original 60 soul points should raise your cap to 80. Relatively easy to get.


Over the Top
Hero reach level 12

Your hero's potential doesn't have to be limited to level 10! God of Treasure's third tattoo allows you progress up to level 12.



Mazer Rackham
Having 9 tattoos!

You will have to believe in a God, obtain all 3 of the God's tattoo then proceed to betray him/her, repeat this until you get 9 tattoos.

This can be quite luck based, as you may not encounter enough tattoo shops / the previous God's punishment is so harsh that it makes your run much harder. I'll add each God's punishment, tattoo requirements in this guide later on.

God Related

You'll get the 9 achievements for believing in Gods throughout your runs without much effort. After getting the four common Gods (Rock, War, Treasure and Magic) it may seem like the rarer Gods (Holy Contractor, Benevolence, Devastation, Vengeance and Evil) never show up. Don't put too much thought on it as they'll all show up eventually.

Betray the God of Evil and pay the prices with your life! Remember what your mother taught you about staying away from bad company?!

RNG Based

Fall into the Abyss
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

This requires a little luck as it doesn't happen in every run. But in some runs after floor 10 you will recieve a message say "The dungeon is rapidly collapsing!" and each time you reveal a new tile, a reveal tile will simultaneously break apart. You fall into the abyss when there are no unbroken tiles left and the exit is not revealed. I'll upload a screenshot the next time I encountered this for clarification.

Runeword Completion

These achievements require you to complete the game (With the exception of Abyss and Endless mode) with their respective runeword activated, on any difficulty.

The Dungeon
Reach floor 30 in Endless mode


No need for magic
Activate "Spell Breaker" Runeword and complete on any difficulty



Don't push it
Activate "Fresh Blood" Runeword and complete on any difficulty
