Introduction
There are 26 heroes in the Clicker Guild game.
Every hero can be levelled up; each of them gains an ability at levels 25, 50, 75, 100, and 150.
They can be levelled up as much as a player wants, but they gain no more abilities after level 150.

Listed here are the abilities that can be gained from levelling up, as well as the initial costs of buying heroes.

Also noted are the heroes' base strengths (i.e. before they have been levelled up at all).
Once you begin paying to increase their levels, their strengths increase, as do the costs for levelling up.

It is hoped that this guide will enable players to plan ahead in their games, such as whether to max out a particular hero, or wait for a hero ahead which will offer superior abilities.

Notes:
1) The text of the skills from levelling up are as noted in the game, so if there are any concerns about the wording, they should be directed to the developers (except that I have transcribed "STR" in each instance as "strength", to make the list easier to understand for everyone).
2) The text used for this guide exceeded the limit for one section, so the list of heroes have been divided into sections of ten heroes each (or part thereof).
3) As I have bought some Ancients, it could be that doing so has affected their base strengths due to the Ancient's multiplier effect - if that is the case, then the base strengths should only be regarded as indicative only. However, as far as I can tell, the listed base strengths don't change even after Ancients have been obtained.
4) The base strengths of heroes is increased by various abilities unlocked by levelling up, so that when you actually buy a hero, its actual strength is likely to be significantly more than its base strength (if you have unlocked one or more abilities that increase the strength of heroes).
Section 1: Hero to Bojun
Hero
(You start with 1 hero)
Base strength = 2 (have seen it at 2, 7.23, and 10.91)
Initial cost = 10
Skills from levelling up:
25 = Increases hero's strength by 75%
50 = Increases hero's strength by 100%
75 = Rapidly autoclicks for a short time
100 = Increases hero's strength by 100%
150 = Increases hero's strength by 0.1% of total strength

Note: After buying some Ancients, it appears that doing so has changed the base strength of Hero (the first hero), due to the Ancient's multiplier effect, but it hasn't changed the base strength of the other heroes.

Militia
Base strength = 2
Initial cost = 10
Skills from levelling up:
25 = Increases Militia's strength by 25%
50 = Increases gold received by 5%
75 = Increases Militia's strength by 50%
100 = Increases Militia's strength by 75%
150 = Increases Militia's critical chance by 25%

Elborg
Base strength = 5

Great guide!

Wish to note that cost of new level of ALL heroes is increased by 7% each level.
For example:
Cassandra
Initial cost = 100 T
next level = 107 T
next level = 114.49 T
next level = 122.5 T

that gives 25 levels cost 63.25 of current cost (for example, leveling Cassandra from level 0 to level 25 will cost 6325 T)

and 50 levels cost 406.53 of current cost (for example, leveling Cassandra from level 0 to level 50 will cost 40653 T)
