it's a long time ago that I played this game and there have been some updates since then.
I think your guessings are right.
From my old memories: Towers normally don't change their actual target. These targeting options only take effect when the current target is dead or out of firing range.
But in play I don't know
Sorry, I don't know any config file where you can edit it.
Perhaps somebody in the forum can help you.
The "map scale" option allows you to zoom in more, but even more, around the wheel spin...
Can we edit any "config" files to increase the zoom option ?
The game is playable, but it's pretty annoying to scroll the wheel again and again...
