"In 1943, the Wehrmacht suffered a massive amount of casulties on the Eastern Front and were nearly destroyed. But in mid 1945, after the defence of Germany and the saving of the fatherland, the Wehrmacht rose again. Unlike in 1943, the Wehrmacht had become Germany's military might once again. In 1946, the Wehrmacht, like the SS, were equipped with most high tech gear and brand new uniforms. For the Wehrmacht this was a much appreciated upgrade from the last ditch uniforms of 1943 and 44. These uniforms were made of the highest grade material and beared a heavy likeness to the uniforms of 1940. In 1946, the Wehrmacht had become the biggest military branch in Germany once again. In 1946, the Wehrmacht was responsible for 79% of territorial gains and the success of 6 different campaigns against the allies.
