How to make your own texture pack or download one in geometry dash!

In this guide, you will learn how to enter at the Geometry Dash resources to change its icons!

1- Go to the resources folder

The only thing you will need to do is follow these steps:

Go to your folders and go this way:

Local disk > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Geometry Dash > Resources

2- Look for GJ_GameSheet02 and GJ_GameSheet03

These are the photos that you will make the changes to have your texture pack

You will make changes in which you identify with the quality of the game in which you play: Low, medium or high.

In GJ_GameSheet02, it is where you can change the icons, ships, waves and more, and you will have these files:

GJ_GameSheet02 (low)
GJ_GameSheet02-hd (medium)
GJ_GameSheet02-uhd (high)



In GJ_GameSheet03, it is where you can change the symbols of the game, with the difficulty symbols, and you will have these files:

GJ_GameSheet03 (low)
GJ_GameSheet03-hd (medium)
GJ_GameSheet03- uhd (high)

3- Have your program!

For you to make the changes, you will need some programs to be able to make the changes. Some of them are:

Paint.net (the program at the internet)
Adobe Photoshop CS6
Adobe Flash CS6
GIMP 2.0

These are some of the programs you can use to make the changes, and they are also the ones I recommend the most!

4- Create your own icon!

If you've always dreamed of an icon just for you in Geometry Dash, it's time to create it! Release your imagination and do what you want!

Just remembering that you should save your photo in PNG so that the background of the photo is transparent.

5- Inserting your icon in the game!

When you finish your icon or your symbol, you will copy it and paste it to GJ_GameSheet02 or GJ_GameSheet03.

Put your icon in the same size that you want to replace, delete the one you'll put the icon on and place your new icon there!

So when you start your game, you can play with your own character!

7-If everything goes wrong

The only thing you should do is open the game, save progress on your account, uninstall the game and install again. So, upload your progress and try again.

Uninstalling will cause the files to be the originals again.

8-New songs

In the textures folder, you will also have the music files, which will be in the music format.

If you're tired of listening to the same background music and practice, you'll do the following:

1-Find the music file you want to change. These are the names:

2-When you find the song you want to change, take the one you want to put in place and put the same name, for example, if the song you do not want anymore is StayInsideMe and you want to put in place the song Supernova, by Xtrullor, You'll change the Supernova name to StayInsideMe, drag it to the folder and click replace.

3-When playing, your music in practice mode will be Supernova, by Xtrullor :) It works with any other music in the game.

9-Downloading a resource pack from the internet

For example, if you want the Neon pack, you will do the following:

1-Find a video with the download link (recommending).

2-Download.






After following these two steps, you will open the downloaded file, and you will see a folder, where will be the files that will change the texture. Open this folder, and copy all the files inside and drag it to the resources folder of dash geometry. Replace them and start your game. So your texture will be working :)

I'm not sure if it works, it is maybe because of me playing at newer version but, if i don't count some things that are completly diferent, where in these 2 picture of sheets is the main menu logo? I had to use completly diferent file to modify that. And that is not the only odd thing. Also i don't recommend you use this exact one which is being shown, i don't recommend it the same like fliping your texture files upsidedown.

what if a texture pack downloaded from internet doesnt even work, i even placed it in the resource folder

I'm simply changing the color of the white borders for the speed portals and it's breaking everything in GJ_GameSheet02uhd, it's still a png, so I dunno. I'm using Pixlr by the way.
