Description


For those of you who have been playing since launch day, many people fell in love with the original Systems Alliance Ships mod, which was the first fully functional shipset to show up for Stellaris. However, this original mod was taken down due to copyright issues for having been posted without the permission of the original author.

Well now, it has returned from the ashes of oblivion, this time with the full permission of the author of the original models and fully compatible with NSC2!

Simply subscribe to this mod, and start a new game. Edit your empire and in the Ship Appearance window (the very last option in the Empire Designer), choose the Systems Alliance Ships option.

This mod has been fully tested for use with NSC2 and is confirmed working. It has also been confirmed working on standard vanilla as well.

I AM NOT A MODELER. I CANNOT ADD ANYTHING NEW TO THIS MOD. THESE MODELS WERE GIVEN TO ME BY SOMEONE ELSE AND I SIMPLY MADE THE TEXT FILES NEEDED TO MAKE THEM WORK WITH NSC AND STELLARIS. I CANNOT MAKE NEW MODELS, CHANGE THE ONES IN THIS MOD, OR ADD NEW TYPES OF SHIPS OR ANY OF THAT MESS. THIS MOD IS HERE JUST FOR THOSE WHO LIKE THE SYSTEMS ALLIANCE SHIPS, IT IS NOT A FULL MASS EFFECT MOD. PLEASE DON'T ASK ME FOR THAT, I CANNOT MAKE IT.


IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Starbases use either Humanoids models (if you have the DLC), or Mammalian models. This cannot be changed, as starbases require completely new models and animations for each level, none of which exist for the ME universe.


This mod was made possible by permissions given to CaptainX3 by Setesh (aka Lord_Set), the original author of the models used. The models are borrowed from the very popular Dawn of the Reapers mod for Sins of a Solar Empire. Many thanks go to that amazing development team for allowing us to do this, and we'd like to provide a link to their amazing mod for Sins players to enjoy.

Just subscribe to this mod without NSC and it’ll work for the 4 standard vanilla classes.

Is there a version where it doesn't add new ship classes and only gives you skins for the normal ships?

I apologize in advance if this has already been requested, but would it be possible to make this compatible with SCX? Using that one instead of NSC and since the Asari ship set mod uses the former it'd be awesome if this one could use it too. c:

Well, when I say turrets, that's my phrase for weapon hardpoints LOL. And the Asari shipset was made with the hardpoints already defined in the model itself, which I have no idea how to do. I wish I could do better but that's the best my skills have to offer :-)

okay i welll the asari shipset don uses turrets there just places where the firer comes out :O

But okay would be awsome if but if its not happaning than i cant change it :D
