Introduction
I love the Quell franchise, and I felt like it was high time for someone to create a unified location for all the levels that can be solved "Better Than Perfect".

I didn't just want to make this because of the "Better Than Us" achievement. I mainly did it because of the interesting solutions that spring up when testing the limits of what you can do in these games.

Enjoy! UwU

Serenity, Stage 2, Level 4, "Brace for Impact"
  • instead of 8, it's possible in 7 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • a hint:
    speed is key
  • full solution:
    starting positions droplets:
water drop 1: left side (unused)
    water drop 2: right side
    -
2: up, right, up, left, FAST up, FAST left, FAST down
Mindfullness, Secret Ring Level 1-3, "Fan"
  • this secret ring level is accessible via: Mindfullness, Stage 1, Level 3, "Rock Prison"
  • secret levels do not count to your "least amount of moves" leaderboard score
  • instead of 22, it's possible in 21 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • a hint:
nothing fancy, just a good old-fashioned unintentional better solution
  • full solution:
up, right, left, down, right, down, right, down, left, up, left, up, left, down, left, down, left, down, up, right, up
Mindfullness, Stage 2, Level 4, "East Meets West"
  • instead of 29, it's possible in 25 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • hint 1:
    speed is key
  • hint 2:
this weird (borderline glitchy) solution uses a bug related to a portal while it's moving
  • full solution:
down, up, right, up, left, up, left, down, up, left, down, left, up, right, left, FAST up, FAST right (so the droplet is moving through the stationary end of the portal while the other end is still moving, which should glitch you into the area of the pearl immediately instead of having to go around), then right, up, right, down, left, down, left, down
Journey, Secret Ring Level 1-3, "Noodles"
  • this secret level is accessible via: Journey, Stage 1, Level 3, "Lotus Positions"
  • secret levels do not count to your "least amount of moves" leaderboard score
  • instead of 25, it's possible in 16 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • a hint:

  • full solution:
right, down, left, up, left, right, down, right, up, right, down, right, right, down, left, up
Journey, Stage 1, Level 4, "Switchboard"
  • instead of 15, it's possible in 14 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • a hint:
speed and/or timing and/or dexterity is required
  • full solution:
    starting positions droplets:
water drop 1: in the middle
    water drop 2: left side
    -
    1: up, left
    2: up
    1: down, right, down, left
    2: right AND immediately-
1: up (so the droplet flicks the switch right as the other droplet is travelling in between the two blocks, allowing it to cross in one move instead of two), then left, down, right, down
    2: down
Barriers, Stage 2, Level 1, "Tower of London"
  • instead of 22, it's possible in 21 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • a hint:
nothing fancy, just a good old-fashioned unintentional better solution

    water drop 2: left side
    -
    1: left
    2: down, right, down

  • instead of 21, it's possible in 20 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • a hint:
speed and/or timing and/or dexterity is required
  • full solution:
    starting positions droplets:
water drop 1: the upper-most droplet
water drop 2: the right-most droplet
    -
    1: down, left
    2: up, down AND immediately-
1: up (so the wooden spike block doesn't move), then right, down, left, up, right
2: right, up, right, up, left, right, down, left, up
Loneliness, Stage 4, Level 3, "Mutual Respect"
  • instead of 14, it's possible in 13 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

Barriers, Secret Ring Level 2-4, "Sushi" should be:
1: left
2: down, right, down, left AND immediately
1: up (so both droplets can cross paths before a green barrier block solidifies)
2:
down, right, up, right

@joe.882001

Well done! The lowest moves score on Global (PC) was still 332 for Mindfulness before today.

This list is not over!
I just found one more level with "Better than Us" solution.
I successfully beat Mindfulness - Stage 2, Level 4, "East Meets West", in 25 moves.
It is due to a bug on a moving ring. Speed, timing and dexterity is the key.
The solution is as follows:
down, up, right, up, left, up, left, down, up, left, down, left, up, right, left AND immediately up AND immediately right (the droplet leaves the ring left), right, up, right, down, left, down, left, down

UPDATE: This guide is finally done! All known "Better Than Perfect" solutions for Quell Zen have been successfully documented in here! :steamhappy:

I just went through your emails. You actually helped me before too!

I've now submitted updates for my guide (usually takes a day to refresh) and linked to yours.

Thanks!
