Guide on how to complete the Jindosh Riddle in Dishonored 2

The Jindosh Riddle

The Jindosh Riddle is a logic puzzle found in the Dust District of Dishonored 2.
While it is unnecessary to complete this puzzle to advance in the game, it does offer an achievement and significantly shortens the level.


The puzzle tasks you with placing 5 individuals in order with an heirloom that each possess. The information to complete this logic puzzle is given in the form of a story problem that contains 6 different elements (Person, seating position, drink, outfit color, heirloom, country of origin). The story is different for each player, as the nouns are re-arranged randomly each game.


Given this information, it is possible to solve the puzzle in one of two ways:
1) Make a logic table and painstakingly work through the data to derive the conclusion
2) Figure out the solution pattern.

Because we’re not in grade school anymore, let’s just jump to option 2.

To solve the puzzle, do the following

Step 1: Read through the story and write down the names of the 5 individuals in the order they appear in the story
Step 2: Read through the story again and write down the 5 heirlooms in the order that they appear
Step 3: Highlight the section below to reveal the proper combination using the lists you just created:
Name 2nd 4th 5th 3rd 1st
Heirloom 4th 1st 5th 2nd 3rd
Step 4: you’re welcome.

This achievement has been unlocked by 12 percent of players, consisting of a small percentage that we "know" how to unlock them and the rest we are here.. That puzzle is unsolvable. The guides on reddit are fake.

You don't have to actually solve the puzzle. You can do every combination which is how I open every combination lock in the game.

The easiest way to do it just head into Durante's room at the Crone's Hand Saloon save the game pick up the Code to Stilton's House, take a photo/screenshoot or write it down then load the save before picking up the code
