Arena Area: Eater of Worlds

In Arena Area, we focus on building cool arenas to fight bosses, events, and pvp. Today we look at the fierce corrupt worm that is the Eater of Worlds

Corrupt Arena

We must build this arena in the corruption for the Eater of Worlds to spawn. If there is crimson in your world, you can build an artificial corruption.
IMPORTANT: This guide assumes the summoning of the Eater of Worlds through worm food.

Step One: Aerial combat
The Eater of Worlds can't maneuver as well in the air as on the ground. We strt by building a long platform in the air. This one is about twenty blocks in the air from the starting point

Step Two: Regen is Life
Next we add some hearts and campfire as usual

Step Three: Mana Regen
Add a star statue to help regenerate mana if you are a magic user

Step Four: Eater of Souls
The eater of souls enemies are plentiful in the corruption. Add an eater of souls banner to give a bonus against them


And finally, my arena:
This arena is very different from the above one. I use the water bolt, which bounces off walls to destroy the Eater of Souls, so that is why it is quite small. This is probably the smallest arena I've made

actually no, waterbolt is pre-skeletron with some luck, it can spawn in the stairwell going down :D

I know waterbolt comes after skeletron hich is why we didn't build my arena in the tutorial. I will try the slime mount in here, as it looks like a lot of fun

Waterbolt most of the times comes after Skeletron, but you can do EoW as the first boss easily with a good arena. Besides that, you should try it in your arena with the slime mount.

It is small because of the bouncy-ness of the waterbolt as my primary weapon

This is a good arena! only because of the pre hardmode, I would make something to get up there. but yeah people will get that. But the last picture, your arena, little small isnt it?
