Total war Warhammer isn't the first game to bring the Warhammer fantasy to the gaming world. long ago, a game called Warhammer: Dark Omen was released. Bring the fantasy world to life on the PC. They had their fair share of units, but some doesnt exist in Total war. One in partiular is..

I present to you, Knights of the Black Grail!

My goal here is to make a viable unit for vanilla Warhammer as best as I can. This unit has been a slight pain to make. I had to remake the retexturing, twice due to it being too dark! My initial idea was also to make this unit a regiment of renown, but alas it's so painful to make so I scrapped it. Instead I gave it a unique building. Balancewise, I'd say it's a solid 85%. I've been playtesting both in campaign and battle but more testing is needed.


Pro's and Con's:

Pros

+ High Attack and Weapon damage!
+ Armored like Grail knights and Blood knights!
+ Powerful Leadership penalty on attacks!
+ Strider! No terrain may stop their advance!

Cons

- high recruitment cost (1725) and upkeep (415).
- recruited from Black Grail Fort in Couronne (cost 4000)
- The fact you can only get the in Couronne.

@Git Gud should be compatible, only thing is that now there are two seperate Grail knight units. Which should look odd

@Git Gud yeah, I've had a lot of requests to add them to mousillon, but as someone who doesn't work with compabilities, I wouldn't know.

Alright, well this works pretty good with mixxu's mousillon overhaul since Mousillon gets access to them pretty quickly from their Start Pos.

@Git Gud yeah, well like I said, it would be too easy to aquire a region specific unit like this if I would add them to raise dead pool. And I don't think it's region specific.

Raise dead does rely on how many people died in the area (like if you had a battle with 2k+ deaths you can pretty much raise the strongest units in the VC army like hexwraiths there every few turns). I'm not sure if it's region specific either.
