This game has been Greenlit by the Community!

Hello everyone, I know what you are thinking: "they forgot us!", "They abandoned us!", "Those damn Devs!". That's not true! Well, maybe a little bit of it and for that, on the behalf of the whole team of Ludic Studios, I apologise for the lack of communication. Having said that, I'm going to fill you all in on everything that has happened in these last 5 months of development and our plans for the future.

We have worked hard to develop the game and its mechanics in the best way possible. Starting with the combat system, which we believe to be very consistent, fun, challenging and fair. For now, the game has few enemies, but we are increasing the amount of enemies as we advance the story of the game.

As for the exploration in the game, we already have 3 playable maps, the Tower Map, the lake to the Tower's right and the mountains to the left. These maps contain items and materials for crafting but we'll talk more about that later. We also implemented a parkour system. In these maps, there are also hidden rooms, with mysterious secrets. There are still more maps to be developed, as we are planning to do about 10 maps in total, so there is still plenty of work ahead.

Now, about the game's crafting and survivor system. We have to think very carefully about what items can be created and what are really needed for the game, the status, such as hunger, disease, poisoning, how the keeper will recover his life and, above all, which of these statuses are useful or not to make the game more realistic. This is one of the most difficult parts of the development, but we're progressing just fine, for now, the system still a bit raw, and we wanted to improve it to put it into the demo.

Speaking of the demo, calm down, we're developing it, do not worry, it's being completed. We are giving it some final touches such as sound effects and music, to test and once it is ok, the demo will be available for everyone to download and feel how the game works. All tips and observations will be noted and discussed.
