Introduction
If you don't know much about scavenge, you should probably check out Mr. Crush's guide instead or something. I will also be using some lingo explained in there.

This guide hopes to show players how real scavenge players should play the game. Please excuse my terrible video quality.

(There are still a few sections that I want to post, but I'll get to them when I'm not being so lazy.)
Levitation
Let's start of with the most important technique of all, which is also one of the easiest to perform. There's a little boxy thing in front of the helipad. Walking into either side of it makes it looks like you are floating.

Ledging
There are a few locations around the map, where you can ledge yourself, then drop safely. Great for confusing the heck out of the infected team (and your own team). So far I've found 10 spots where you can do it.

Generator
The generator is easily climbable, making this a fairly common trick. I'm including it in this guide anyway, because not a lot of people know that it's also a prime can stacking location.

Satellite
On the other hand, I don't see many people climbing the satellite, which can get you even higher than the generator. (But I suppose it's not good as a can stacking location).

Jump straight down the middle back of the satellite dish, and you will be able to jump to the top. Or ledge yourself in front of it and get someone to help you.

Minigun Jump
This one's a must-have. Loads of fun, and only a little bit of practice to perform comfortably. This trick will also be required to master the next section.

Assuming default controls, grab the side of the minigun with E. Then immediately press E + Spacebar at the same time to let go and fling yourself far. The farther off-center you grab the minigun with your initial E, the farther you will go. Works on both sides of the minigun.

Another way to do weird minigun stuff, is to jump and immediately grab the minigun. Before landing on the ground, spam Right Click a bunch of times (usually just twice is fine). You will fling backwards into the railing. (I haven't really found a use for this, but sometimes you can dodge the railing and fly off the map).

Four Corners
In each corner of the map, there are 4 block things with searchlights on them. These all can be jumped on to. The two by singles are the most straightforward to reach - just jump to them. The one by f4 can also just be jumped to. The last one by f2 is a pain in the behind to get. Do a minigun-jump all the way there.

h3 Wall
Right by h3, the world boundary is very close. It acts like a giant wall, and you can walljump alongside it as a Hunter. The most important thing about this wall though, is that you can throw cans onto it.

Can Punching
There are 3 cans which give satisfying results when punched.

The top can at easy2 can be punched to the ground. Sometimes you can actually punch this can over the railing, and into h3 territory. (Couldn't get this on video).

The "glitched" can at h3 can be punched off the building or into the floor. (You can also scratch this can as infected, but that's usually a kickable offense).

The two cans atop helipad can be punched down the back ramp, and into the f4 area. Getting the cans from the base of the ramp to f4 is a bit of a pain though.

Can Stacking
I'd like to end this guide with a friendly reminder that the whole point of Scavenge is to get sick can stacks.

why did you not want him to pick up the can? Why do you want to hit the cans off the building?
