True. If steam allowed for WebM we could really go to town, higher quality and lower filesize are easier with WebM files.

This is one I really wanted to capture too. Looks good. Also so hard to get a better resolution when trying to come down to steam uploading requirements.

Ah imgur plus some online tools, great combo. It's good to be wary. In fact, if I were to summarize one portion of my job it would be fixing issues caused by unwary users. Instagiffer installer doesn't have any extras to uncheck but, as with many other tools, I go for the portable .zip (no-installation) version since that tends to be a great way to avoid unwanted bulk/junk.

What do you think? I enjoyed watching these side by side, they almost match! (I did change the slow mo scene angle shown on mine.) I wish Steam would allow hosting and viewing WebM files, much better than animated gifs.

Ha! Most of my gifs were done through Imgur. I use some online websites to further improve upon them or reduce their size. For the life of me atm I can't remember the name. I just didn't want to download too many application s on my pc.

Good point, it's easy to remove/replace songs but replacing cars in a racing game is a different story. They are the main character after all. On another topic, how do you make your animated gifs? For my steam artwork animated gifs I use Instagiffer, turn off the "Enhance" effect, and I enable "Extra Gif Compression". I like the way they turn out.

I don't think it will come back mainly due to individual licensing issues. Expired licenses, foror example, using the names of actual cars and manufacturers. Also, on certain songs. When something like that happens the game never usually comes back. However, I am hoping someone will make a successor for this game. It was one of the best racing games I have had the enjoyment to play here on steam.

No problem. It's a shame when great games leave the store. I hope Blur will be re-licensed and make it back onto steam eventually. I bought the non-steam PC version off ebay last year and quite enjoyed it.
