Farming cash and some tips

Hi everybody... This farm guide intention is for those who want to farm and do as less effort as possible. So after the setup of the units, you just need to click 2 time to go to the next wave, and earn $10,000 to $27,000 cash each run.

NOTE: this guide is to help you to farm cash faster in a specific level, not to finish the game. You can try another map or setup to get a better result. I am not claiming that this is the best way. But I think that this map is the best one to be use to farm cash safely.

Tips

Update

• Higher priority!!! Focus on those in the down right side first!
  Comment: Basically whenever you have cash update the #1, but if you don't have enough update the #2 ... and so on.

  3. Skill Price -X %
     
  4. Borrow $ XXX
     
     
• The remider cash that you can't spend on the higher priority.
  Comment: Basically whenever you have cash update the #1, but if you don't have enough update the #2 ... and so on.
  
  1. Regenerate 1%. Ony level for now. Finish this when you have the rest done.
     
  2. Get Survivalist as soon as possible.
     
  3. Team Size X: at least get it to 5 or 6
     
  4. Max rank X, try to get this at least to rank 3, you can update this later.
     
  5. Ranger + X: update all of this as soon as possible.
     
  6. Damage +%, try to get this at +50%, get this all later.
     
  7. Reg. X % finish all the reg.
     
     OPTIONAL, and very useful to unlock
     
     • Marine -> Grenade launcher
       
     • Sniper.
       
     • APC cannon -> Cost -10% -> Cost -25%
       
     • Bulldozer -> Bulldozer -25% -> Bulldozer -50%
• After the above update, now we should focus on those update in the Gold.
  This are things to focus on... Comment: finish all this upgrade later when you have more cash.
  
  1. Bullets 1. Only one for now. Very high priority
     
  2. End bonus 20%
     
  3. Start w. Cash +XXX: try to get the +1000$
     
     

Farming cash

My setup, only list the things that I will use, and they are affecting the battle. alsot name the last level of the update.
Regular update.

• Team Size: 32, but I will just deploy 4 units. (5 is ok too, little bit lest cash, but more safe)
  
• Reg. 5%. Not this is at all.
  
• Max rank 4, but I will only upgrade 2 level on my units.
  
• Survivalist
  
• Damage +50%
  
• Range +4
  
• + 50% Cash
  
• Start with $1000
  
• Skill Price -50%
  
• Borrow $2000

Goldupdate.

• Bullets 1, much better if you have Bullets 2.
  
• End bonus 30%
  
• Start w. Cash +1000
  
• X4 Optional, just fast farming...

Game

• Regular
  
• Map or Level: Buried in the Sands
  
• Keep playing

Setup on the level

1. Starting hiring a Survivalist on the left top of the building at that yellow ring.
   
2. Promote them to rank 2. With the yellow ring, you will have a rank 3 unit.
   
3. Hire another Survivalist on the right top side of the building near the stairs.
   
4. set to max speed
   
5. Do the same as the first unit. Rank 2 and yellow ring
   
6. When you have enough Cash, hire 2 more Survivalist at the top of that building leaving the center empty.
   
7. OPTIONAL: hire another Survivalist at the center that was empty. Or instead onluck one of the APC in the left side.

IMPORTANT NOTE
1-Do not need to worry zombie on the left side... not even bother look at that side, just focus on the right side because in order for any zombien to hit your unit, they need to go to the left stairs...
2-Sometime 2 boss (big zombies with a lot of life) come from the left side. Then you might need to move one of the Survivalist to distract them a little bit. Just move down and up... you know how to distract the zombie right? they can't make any damage while your unit is moving... when is only 1 boss coming from the left side, you don't really need to worry about it at all...
Result

• I played for the first 10 waves, and I got $12,000+ cash.
  
• Played to 15 waves, and I got $27,000+ cash. I didn't update anything or add more units or buy the APC... just using the setup above. 4 Survivalist rank 2 , with yellow ring (making it to rank 3 units).

Someone may ask: but how the **** do I get all those update that you mention ?....
Here are some more tips.
In Breaking News and Hit the Road, you can easily get around $8000 cash by using the police only or with Marine.
But need to move a lot, I mean use one policeman to distract the zombien...
The following list are cheap and easy to get, and this simple setup can help you to get those cash...

• Marine
  
• Survivalist
  
• Regenerate 1%
  
• Team Size 4
  
• Max rank 2
  
• Greanade launcher for the Marine, I highly suggest to get this one.

After you have the above list, focus on the cash and slowing work on the Range and Damage. Focus on Range first.

Sorry for all the grammer mistake... and hope this is useful. This is my first guide on Steam.... actually the first guide online posted hahahaha so doesn't have much quality on the look.

EDIT: After I read couple of the comment, I will reply that here.
The Borrow 2k is not necesary! I added there because it will allow you to quickly finish setting, so you just need the 2 click for the next wave. Otherwise, you need to wait for a couple of wave more until you have everything set. The Borrow 2k might no necessary for farming, but it might will useful for late mission, so why not?

Using sniper combine with the APCs you can go far.. very far and they still have no problem. But this guide is to get cash quick.
Emanuel_Rtan2004 mentions that he got into wave 70 or 75. This probably cost 30min or more to get just $70k cash.
I mention before that just to get in wave 15 and you will get $27k, this will only cost you less than 5 min. To get higher score and challeging the limit it is ok. But for farming, I don't think it is a good idea to go over wave 30.

4 years later and I'm back to this guide, not sure if you'll see this but thanks for the guide Ganzon! Even nowadays I still use it(Since it's been quite the time, I forgot the farming method), and I noticed I forgot to thank you for such an amazing guide, that helped me gather almost all updates. If it wasn't for this, my time playing would be much harder. This was and still is a really good guide!

[Connectivity Issue]

the mercenaries min damage is very low making the actual damge pretty random. this is why they arent op.

i use mercenaries because their max damagwer per bullet is three times that of the marines which leaves the marines bullet worth absolutely 0. also u seem to be forgetting that zombies dont go over molotov fires making it so you can block giant zombs or police zombs etc and make them go another longer route.

You can buy molotov to come on supply crates so mercenary isnt really needed

I will prefer marine becuase it can be update with grenade launcher (splash damage) . It is very useful!! On the other hand, mercenary has the molotov. It makes damage over time, but I see that it doesn't do much specially when you are at higher level of wave.. and you need to manually use that, otherwise it is just a waste.

Ganzon what unit do you think is better? mercenary or marine?

My initial setup are using sniper, I get far but the ratio on getting cash is too slow.
25 wave and no problem using sniper and earn 30k but spend a lot more time.
With the setup in this guide, I can get $27k cash with 15 waves.. using X3 or X4, I can get that amount of cash in less than 5 min. To go to wave 70 or 75, you mine need 30min or more time.
