[WIP] 100% Achievements

This is a guide on how to get 100% achievements. I've incoporated tips from other users in the community and linked to their original guides. Please enter their guides and rate them up if the tips were helpful, as I do not intend to keep the credit for their ideas/suggestions.

Introduction

Heroes of Might and Magic III HD is a turn-based strategy game. This means that you can take unlimited time to make a limited amount of actions before giving the turn to your opponent. The key to obtaining all the achievements by yourself is to learn the basics, pay attention to item and spell tooltips, avoid mixing troops from different factions (this reduces morale) and apply strategy to building and troop expenses (i.e. learning which troops and buildings are useless and spend wisely and strategically).

That said, if you still encounter difficulties with getting one or more achievements, this guide is for you. It shows easy and easier ways to achieve some goals.

The Hidden Achievement is at the end to avoid spoilers.

Missing: Ultimately, if you're still encountering difficulties or are too lazy to even get the achievements yourself, at the end is a .RAR with savefiles for you to simply load and complete the objective(s).

Scenario achievements

Squire
Complete 10 maps on Normal Difficulty without cheating

An easy way to get this achievement is by playing the Tutorial, go South-East towards the two stumps. Stand in the middle, pass the turn and then dig (Click Adventure Options > Dig). You have the Holy Grail. Pass the turn again, and return to the Castle. Build the Colossus by entering the City Hall. You've won.

Knight
Complete 10 maps on Hard Difficulty without cheating

General
Complete 10 maps on Expert Difficulty without cheating

Hero
Complete 10 maps on Impossible Difficulty without cheating

The normal way to tackle these achievements is to play scenarios in single player against the computer in different difficulties.

However, an easier way is to play the "Key to Victory" scenario. It's quick, it's small, it's easy and the showdown against the enemy will only occur when you feel courageous, since all the tents controlling access from one end to the other are on your side.

Here is a walkthrough of Key to Victory on Impossible Difficulty. You can apply it to easier difficulties, naturally.

Ultimately, the easiest way is to simply create your own scenario, place your town with all improvements and a huge army. Place a single enemy hero with a tiny army a few steps away from your town and beat the scenario 10 times on each difficulty.

If you're still feeling lazy to do it by yourself, there is a savegame for Key to Victory on each difficulty. Simply download it and beat the scenario 10 times.

Use a cheat code

Cheat codes are entered by pressing TAB during the game (outside the town).

All cheat codes in Heroes of Might and Magic III refer to the original developer (New World Computing) and Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975). The title refers to the French Taunting scene in the movie. Below is a list of all cheat codes present in the game and their reference to the movie.

You can also cheese the 10 wins achievements. Just load up the autosave from the last turn before you won, then win again and it will count towards the total

Great guide, checked it too late though. A tip for distracted players like me: when you win a scenario, just go charge the savegame to complete the scenario achievements. Just did that for the normal difficulty. Might try you and Matev methods instead for harder difficulties.
