Death By A Thousand Taunts

Adds over three thousand new monster taunts. Current total: 3450!
Also, this mod got mentioned in the November 2012 PC Gamer, on page 86. Hooray!

Tired of hearing the same lines over and over? Add some linguistic spice to your life with this assortment of taunts, assembled by hand from the finest lowercase letters, specially made to be compact and (for the most part) obscenity-free!

Featuring such lines as:
i have no time for tallying my victims
ooh, a new plaything?
i'm more than just a pretty face
i've had enough of you and your odor
echo base, do you copy
well, aren't you high society
i need to see some ID
i'll shoot you with my invisible gun
dramatic pause
you missin' something hella crucial
And more!

You can install this mod by clicking the subscribe button up there, then activating it in the mods section of the startup window.

To decide which taunts to add, I follow this rough guide:

-Does it sound like a thing a monster would say upon seeing an adventurer?
-Is it really long? (Long is bad)

That's pretty much the whole guide.

You can add your own taunts to the game fairly easily!
All you have to do is add them to your game's text.xml file, which should be in your Steam > SteamApps > Common > dungeons of dredmor directory.
