How to transfer items from Custom Game into Single Player
By Michael
This guide is more focused for players that want to rush through the game to complete achievements. I would suggest the new players to enjoy the game without using this type of exploits where you just one shot everything.
Following this guid you will be able to transfer the items from Custom games to Single player.
Note: The items found in the Custom maps followed in this tutorial also depend on RNG, you will open Hades boss spheres to get the items.
The first part of the guide is more focused on how to create the custom map and where to find the chests you need to open to get the items.
The second part is how to have those items in Single Player
All credit goes to my friend GG, he was able to figure this out while trying to find a faster way to do achievements.

First part: Creating the map
Go to location where TQ-Anniversary is installed > Drive:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Titan Quest Anniversary Edition
Open "ArtManager" > Select "Mod > New" > Type the name of the custom mod and press OK.
This will create all of the source files witch you will see on the left window, you can also expand the source files witch we will need later.
Minimize the "ArtManager" and open "Editor" from the same location where you oppened "ArtManager"

If you get "xtagMenuError1" when you start the Editor this means you do not have Titan Quest original game installed. Follow this guide and you will be able to launch the Editor.
steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=757884304

In the prompt that appears select the mod created in "ArtManager" from the drop down menu
Click on Maps directory and type the name of the map in the text box bellow and click OK

Now you will have a red box in the Editor

Click on "Region" on the top menu and select "Add New Terrain..."

Expand the "Source" folder and select "Maps" directory.
Type the Region name in "File name" text box, select Width and Height of the map and select OK

Select the "Editor Mode" from the bottom of the "Editor" window or press the jump tool from the top.

Now you will see a sandy terrain witch is the default texture when creating any map.Mouse wheel will zoom In/Out on the map and while holding right click you can move the map left/right/up/down.

If you want to create some fancy map for this go ahead and watch this really helpful tutorial here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egpWkuqcHjo

Placing chests
Now click the first icon from the top bar and on the far right a "records" document will be visible
Expand that document scroll all the way down and expand "xpack" directory, expand "item" directory, expand "containers" directory and scroll all the way down in that directory and you will find this 3 items:
1 > bosschest05_hades_01 (this chest drops items level range 15-18)
2 > bosschest05_hades_02 (this chest drops items level range 20-26)
3 > bosschest05_hades_03 (this chest drops items level range 36-45)
You can also use the "Quick Search" option as seen in the screenshot.

After selecting the chest that you want you can press "Add to Palette" button and it will be placed in the history as shown in the screenshot so you can place it without searching again if you will want to edit the map.

Select the chest you want to place and place it anywhere on the map (you can use Ctrl+C while the chest is selected and use Ctrl+V to paste the chests on top of each other) select the chest after placed and move it where you want on the map.
Try to place the chests with some space between them as shown bellow i will explain why later

Now go to "records" directory again and expand it, expand "control" directory and select "spawnplayer" item (this is the spawn player location) and place it on the map.

The map is complete all needs to be done now is to save it.
Select the Layout Mode from the bottom of the "Editor" window and on the top select "Build"
Select "Rebuild all Pathing" after the process is done click OK
Select "Build" again and select "Rebuild all Maps" click OK after the process is finished

Go to "File" and select "Save All" click OK

Close the "Editor" now and bring up the "ArtManager" witch was minimized.
Click on "Mod > Select" and select the map that you have created in the editor
Expand the source folder that appeared and select "Maps"
In that folder you will find some documents, one of that document ends with the extension ".wrl" witch should be your map.
Right click that document and select "Auto-Create Asset". Click Ok, this will create the map in the Assets tab.

Select the "Assets" tab that is located down and you will see your map folder witch is blue.
Expand the folder and select "Maps", right click the map in that folder and select "Build"
Part two: Getting the items
First thing you will do now is to go to:
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Documents\my games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\SaveData\Main
And copy the folder of the name of your character just as a backup if something will go wrong.

Enter the game and go to "Options > Video" and uncheck the "Full Screen" to play the game in window mode.
Select "Play Custom Quest"
Select "Import" and import your character
Select the map created from the right side
Select the difficulty of the map and click start
Do not start on a difficulty that a character has not unlocked or the game will crash. Other than that i think the difficulty has no point here if we do not have monsters.

After spawning press "Esc" key and leave the game (Do not open any chests)
We are doing this only to create character files in "Documents" folder.

Leave the game as it is in the title screen and press Alt+Tab and go to:
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Documents\my games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\SaveData\Main
There you will see the folder with your character name (This is the folder for the character in Singleplayer)
Open that folder and copy the following file: Player.chr
And now go to:
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Documents\my games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\SaveData\User
You will also see the folder with your character name (This is the folder for the character in Custom Game)
Open that folder and paste the file copied before, select to replace.

Now go into the game and select "Play Custom Quest"
Select the character you already imported, select the map and press "Start"
Open the chests and get the items you need.
* Remember i said to put some space between the chests before? This is needed because when you open the chests the items name are placed on top of each other and since there are so many of them sometimes some items are not visible (they go way above the screen) this may happen with the items you might need.
You can press the quick pick up key to pick gold, shards and charms but since there will be so many of them your inventory will fill up fast.

After you took what you need press "Esc" and exit to the title screen
Select "Play Titan Quest", select your character and hit "Start"
You will see that the items you have picked up from Custom Game are now in your inventory.
What you can do now is to place those items in your Inventory or Transfer stash at inventory guy in town
Now do not enter the Custom Game again because if you will do that when you will go back to Single Player you will have your character from the Custom Game without the items picked before (the chracter from custom overrides the character from the main).
What you will need to do is to exit the game in the title screen and copy the "Player.chr" file again as before.
Enter Custom Game and get the items again then return to single player.

Basically you will need to copy that file every time you want to make this transfer (without leaving the game be careful)
Notes
If you get an error when you try to play a new custom game you will have to delete the character from custom game and import it again.

When i finished my playthrough on Normal with the level 36 i had weapons with the damage range 56-70. While doing this exploit i dropped a weapon of my level with 200-240 damage witch is insane. Don't think i would ever have the luck to get those items in Normal game.

You found a better chest while creating this map? Let everyone know in the comment section bellow.

I can also make a tutorial on how to get to lvl 75 fast without any softwares installed to get the achievement since it is taking a lot of time. Let me know if this is something that you might want.

Cool.
Still you can easily move stuff around using TQ Defiler and TQ Vault which involves less hussling with files and such, but may be a bit slower:
- Import or create character in custom game, then buy, pick up, etc. whatever you want/need. Items has to be in characters inventory.
- Exit game
- Open TQ Defiler (if it's the first time you open it - it may throw a few notifications, just click OK or skip 'em)
- Right click on the character name and choose the option copy the character from custom games to main game
- Move/copy all the items with TQ Vault to wherever you want
- Enjoy.

It IS kind of cheating and as good author noted - unless you had already played the game... extencively like we did - better enjoy the game as it was originally intended. Maybe use TQ Vault to store stuff unneeded ATM, but no more, really.
