CLA CLAFGHAN
Version: 2.9.5
This map is 20x20 Kms. Based upon Kunar Province in Afghanistan, but this one deploys different structures that don't belong to the real area and we added them just to bring them for the sake of joy.

The AI don't register altitudes well. Hence them crashing into the mountain at the airbase.

@Dr. Death thanks for the response.

I didn't know they set their own. I figured the airport was hard coded into the map, so the spawn points, taxi route and take-off/landing point were set in stone.

I've also actually never had any issues with ALiVE messing up the spawning so far. Granted, I've only tried on 3-4 maps.

Alive generates their own spawnpoint for airbases. As good as it is, Alive fucks up vehicle placement 8/10 times. Even in stock maps i cant set a base with "ambient empty vehicles" unless i want things to explode on loading the mission.

Question: is it just me or do AI aircraft try to take off from the wrong side of the runway and always crash into the mountain? Second question: why in God's name was that set as the spawn point for aircraft on this map? It makes the airbase useless for ALiVE missions, which really sucks cuz this is hands down my favourite map.

absolute best map there ist. period. i love how the mountains are filled with vegetation. also the mountains are the best made modder mountains ive seen so far.

so you are stuck between always having to use CUP, removing arab buildings from Op Arrowhead which would probably take long, or replace them which would take an entire map rework?
Im just saying the asset thing because honestly this is the only map i even have CUP for and it takes a lot of space.

Hey, isn't there a way to rip the assets required from CUP into the terrain files so that it loses its dependency on that mod?
