This guide will help you complete all of the character routes in If My Heart Had Wings by showing which decisions to make throughout the game.

There are 5 choosable character routes including: Kotori, Amane, Ageha, Asa, and Yoru

Certain routes like Amane and Yoru are only availible after other routes have been cleared at least once

Once a section of plot has been read once it can be skipped making route clearing faster

Kotori's Route

Choices:

Who will you go with?
"Go ahead with Kotori"

Do you like Amane?
"No, It's different" (Only if asked by Amane)

Who's swimsuit is the best?
"Kotori"

Who's turn is it tonight?
"Kotori"

Who would you like to go with?
"Go home together with Kotori"

Amane's Route

*Amane's Route is only availible after clearing Kotori's route at least once

"I like you"

*Yoru's route is only availible after clearing Asa's route at least once

Bad Ending

The bad ending is earned by failing to follow the path to any of the available characters. This is most easily done by choosing Kotori's or Ageha's route with the exception of the final desicion.

"Wait for Ageha"

Do you like Amane?
"No, It's different" (Only if asked by Amane)

Who's swimsuit is the best?
"Kotori" or "Amane"

Who's turn is it tonight?
"Ageha"

So if for example for Kotori's route if the first option I chose wait for Ageha but every other option I chose the right ones, would I still get the bad ending?

After finishing Kotori and Ageha, I wanted to take the Amane route. The second choice I got did not have the listed text. I had the choice between, "I like it." Or "No, that's wrong." Which is kinda misleading because the line immediately before it talks about Amane looking disappointed. So in the context of the game session, it looks like you're saying you like the fact that she's disappointed. Playing on a PC through Steam.

I'm playing the Switch version so I don't know if there's anything different... But I definitely finished Kotori's route, with the epilogue reaching the "fin" screen. I started Asa's route for now, I'll try again a bit later.

weird, you finished kotori and got the achievement correct? Those are the requirements for amane. Unless you did something weird like play offline and not get the achievement, play on a different pc or something idk what to tell u

Thanks for your reply, I restarted a new game, from the beginning and used skip to go faster to the choices.

Did you restart the game from the beginning or just load a save? I believe u have to start over after completing Kotori (although u can just click skip and wait for choices)
