"I am currently working on an UltraHD (2K) Texture pack for Doom. This is a teaser of what I'm working on. When the pack is finished I will upload it to the net, with a seperate lite (1k) pack for those with 32bit OS, or less than 4Gb of system RAM.

This is the rusted ggrey industrial door. It took nearly 2 weeks of solid work. The main surface was created in Photoshop with the Filter Forge plugin, and all the details were painstakingly done manually before finishing it off with a rust pattern, from Filter Forge."

I plan on making a full UltraHD Texture pack. It will take some time, but when finished I will upload it to the net and share the download link with the Doom community.

I am actually teaching myself as I go, but I work part-time as a graphic designer. I am also a self-taught painter, and I paint photographic portraits of pets, but I had to take a break from that as I am left handed for all but the computer mouse and have an injury on my left shoulder.

Well you did a great job. I wish I could do things that good, haha. You should work on a Wolfenstein 3d texture pack after you've finished Doom. Sure it'll take some more time but I'd really like to see what you come up with. I prefer doing my art my hand rather by computer but I might give it another shot.

Photoshop and Filter Forge. Most of the work was manual labor with photoshop and the basic textured surfaces were procedurally generated in filter forge, but yeah 95% was manual and this particular texture took over 2 weeks to complete.
