The making of a tripod fighting machine! (beginer)

Hello, this guide will show you how to make your own tripod fighting machine in SPORE GALACTIC ADVENTURES!!!
This is the beginer's tutorial, so if you think i'll be getting into how to make the big 2005 tripod, you're wrong.

Design The Tripod's Hood (cockpit)

First, it would be wise to create the tripod's hood, (cockpit)


This is an example of Jeff Wayne's tripod hood. You can make any hood style you want, or even come up with your own! But, for the purpose of this tutorial, i'll use Jeff Wayne's fighting machine.

For this tripod, take an egg-like part, for the base of the hood.
Next, duplicate the egg, srink it down a bit, so it ffits on the front of the big egg, and color it black.

Now, the eyes are a little trickey. What you can do for this type of tripod, is: take a square, make it's hight as low as possible, and attach circles to the front, color the square black and put it inside the head until you can just see the eyes.

Next, the heat-ray: it's as simple as attaching a very small cylender to wherever you want the heat-ray.

next, the two things that stick out at the back, use the plasma vents, and attach coverings to the top so you can;t see inside.

Next, the headlights (or flashlights), it's as simple as getting that hollow part you see on the picture, and put a lignt inside of it.

Never Skip Leg-Day.

This is the tripods leg! (if you are making jeff wayne tripod)

I started with the two cylenders at the top of the leg, what i did was created two cylenders of the same lenght, and pointed them in the direction of the tripod hood.

And the joint is just a bigger cylender... nuff said.

Than i repeated the two same lengh cylender thing for the tripod's lower leg. only i made them longer.

Then i did the foot. it starts out with the beak shape, duplicate the beak and rotate it until it's facing both the left and the right side (do not press A on the foot's parts!)
than i got one more beak, and pointed it back.

Now, the pipe thing between the lower leg and where the hood will be,
Just take to cylenders and tweak them until it looks right (to you)

Now the re-enforcements (optional)
Their just cylenders slightly bigger than the leg cylenders combined... you can figure the rest out.

seting up in your adventure!

What you wanna do is spawn a leg, and get it to a size you like,than spawn the hood, and attach the thick part of the leg above the hood's lights, and the thin bit on the hoods lights (for front legs)
For the back leg, just put the leg somewhere that doesn't look dumb.

Briliant idea, modifying values for galactic adventures, use robotic parts on creatures and ranged weapons to make a fully rigged tripod. (Modify Health and attack damage to acomplish this)
