Description

Push your Friends into the Pool and have good laugh!

Pool Party Arena is a Local Multiplayer, in which 4 Friends can fight each other in an exciting Water Bomb Battle. It features 4 unique Characters: Malva, Jay, Lester and Scratch. Everyone of the Pool Party Teens has their own personality and is fully voiced.

Laugh and get mad together with Pool Party Arena!

The Game is a Project of Game Development and Game Graphics Students at the School for Games in Berlin. The seven people who work on this Project took 5 months to shape the Game the way it is right now.

  • Push your Friends into the Pool on over 15 Stages!
  • Choose between 4 unique Characters!
  • Enjoy a Variety of Voice Acting!
  • Plug in any Controller! (PS4,Xbox 360, Xbox One Support)
  • And do all of that, to an awesome Soundtrack!

Each Round you’ll spawn in a random corner of the Stage. Your goal is to push all your Friends into the Pool. To do that, you throw Water Bombs, which will cause a Knockback.

For every Friend you got wet, you earn Points. If you have 5 Points, the Pool Party Crown is yours!

Hey! First off, thank you all for your Feedback, positive and constructive! We are glad to see, people take time to vote and comment our work.

It's important to emphasis on the fact that this game is a student project. The development was limited to a semester and has concluded already. The Team will however put in the extra effort to make the game Steam-ready in case it's getting green-lit. Unfortunately there won't be any additional game-modes, due to limited resources and the Team moving on to a new project.

That being said, I want to thank all the people who played the game at our local playtests in Berlin. I am glad people have fun playing Pool Party Arena and I would be happy to see the game reach more people, looking for the next local Multiplayer.
Game Development Championship Aug 29, 2016 @ 10:08am
Will you have any sort of single-player in the game? To be succesful in Steam, I would really suggest having either that or online multiplayer.

We are running the Game Development World Championship and would like to see you participate. It's good for your visibility and won't cost you a penny.

You can check it out at www.thegdwc.com .

Good luck with the development!

If you want me to advertise for you, give you personal feedback, review your game, or even help with development, just contact me via Steam. Any/all of which completely free. I enjoy helping Indie game developers and their projects. It's a hobby. :)

The Graphics look good for this game type, also like the movement animations and the Gameplay looks like fun.
