[DW Approved] Minigun Enforcer Build

The minigun is very viable thanks to Update 100, and I will show you how to make a cloaker-cutting, bulldozer-crushing punisher build.

The Gun

The minigun doesn't have too many mods, which makes this part of the guide easy. To collect what you need will take only a few side jobs.

Go for the longer barrel, and also add the military light module.


I haven't found the "I'll take half that" kit to be very useful.

The Skills

Here are the skills I am currently using.

Being able to dominate enemies is important, and made even easier by the minigun as your enemies will often cower in fear.


One important thing is to bring your own ammo. Don't be that guy or gal. The minigun is crushing but can eat ammo up faster, so ace out that ammo perk and bring two full bags. Shotgun skills are useful if you happen to love the Locomotive shotgun like I do.


Aside from maximizing the speed of your drills - something that's always useful - take your points to the right side of the Tech tree and ace out the top. You will get extra body damage for headshots, which makes your lovely fast-spinning beauty even more damaging. You will also have a few hundred extra bullets in your gun.


Being able to run with more stamina is nice, and so is being less targeted by your enemies.


Extra melee damage when you need it is also helpful.

Perk Deck

The muscle perk deck balances out your skills, giving you health for kills, of which you will get many. One downside is it makes you more of a target, but that is minimized thanks to your Ghost tree skill. I haven't found armor to be much of an issue as long as you wear the most armor you have.

Playstyle

Using the minigun may be an adjustment coming from an assault rifle, since you hip fire the minigun and there is no sight. However, once you get good at it, you'd be surprised how accurate it actually can be. I've taken out snipers quite far away with just a few bursts.

Where this weapon really shines, however, is in CQC. You can clear enemies for your team quickly, mow down cloakers before they even get close, and shred the face of skull dozers.

It is still wise to use cover, but when you get in a pinch its power is formiddable.

Does this build even work anymore? Body Expertise got nerfed HARD. It can't be used against dozers anymore! In fact, I'd say that almost any build that used Body Expertise as the main leg to stand on, it's basically crippled now.
