How to access the Beta

A short step by step guide how to access the Natural Slection 2 Beta

Introduction

The Beta of Natural Selection is at any point available for anyone at Steam. Playing the Beta allows you to check out new features before they get released to the public.

Howto

• Open Steam
  
• Hover over library and then click at Games
  
  
• Search for “Natural Selection 2” and rightclick at the games library entry. Then click at Properties.
  
  
• Open the Betas tab and select the Beta branch in the selection. Afterwards click at Close.
  
  
• Now you should notice that the Natural Selection entry should be name Natural Selection 2 Beta and Steam should start to download the Beta. In case the download hasn’t started follow these steps:
  
  • Click at Click at Games and then select Downloads
    
    
  • Now start the download of the Beta update by clicking at the Enqueue button
    
• Have fun and enjoy the beta build

To switch back to public build repeat the above steps and select “None” in the 4th step instead of Beta
