Step 1
You are going to need two things to make this mod work.

The Russian Overkill mod: http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?t=29915

GZ Doom: http://forum.drdteam.org/viewforum.php?f=23

Download those things, and get your ass back here.
Step 2
Here comes the "hard" part. You need to go ahead and go to your game files which is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Doom 2. Once you get there, drag and drop everything on the GZ Doom and Russian Overkill files that you downloaded on to the Doom 2 folder.
Step 3
If you are going to play with mods in general, DO NOT LAUNCH THE GAME ON STEAM, instead launch the GZ Doom in the Doom 2 folder. To play with mods, drag and drop the .wad or .pk3 file that you get after downloading the mod onto GZ Doom. That's it. Have fun.

Step 4: 7.zip it, mainly extract it to the rar itself, then you will see a folder, open it and drag RO onto Gzdoom.

Whenever I try to launch Russian Overkill with GZDoom it pops up a message saying this:

OS: Windows 10 (or higher) (NT 10.0) Build 17134

M_LoadDefaults: Load system defaults.
Using program directory for storage

Execution could not continue.

Cannot find a game IWAD (doom.wad, doom2.wad, heretic.wad, etc.).
Did you install GZDoom properly? You can do either of the following:

1. Place one or more of these wads in the same directory as GZDoom.
2. Edit your gzdoom-username.ini and add the directories of your iwads
to the list beneath [IWADSearch.Directories]

How can I fix?
