Hosting A America's Army Proving Grounds Server | Updated |

The last time a Server guide was made was in the beta, Now that AA is out of the beta those ports don't work anymore (Some Do Some Don't) And can become a major security flaw, So here is how you should port forward.

Setting Up your AA Server.
Before I begin, I would like to give a special thank you to [UNSF]SGT_CokeSucka without is input on hosting a AA server this updated guide would have not been possible.

The last time a Guide was made for hosting a AA server was in the beta, since then the required ports have changed.

Step one, Right click steam and click AA. From here select host a Dedicated Server.

Step Two, Setting Up Ports.

Open Command Prompt Via Windows + R and type in CMD or By searching it.

From here type in ipconfig. Scroll Down till you see Wireless LAN Adapter or Ethernet adapter or however your internet is set up, But for this Since I'm using WIFI we will use that.

I've Highlighted What we need to grab, In this case it is Default Gateway and IPv4 Address.
Copy down this and close out of CMD Prompt.

While we are still configuring port/Setting up ports lets set our game ports up.
Click on advance port Options.

From here, Set it up like what I have and click on advance auto config, Click ok and if anything else were to pop up click yes.

Forward Ports
Now that we have configured our ports this will very from router to router (Or Modem to Modem)

Forward the follow (Login/ Connect to the default Gateway first)

VOIP(TS3) TCP/UDP 8765 - 8767 (Don't forget to put the IPv4 Address you got from Command Promt)

Steam Auth Port: TCP,UDP 7780 - 7780

Steam Browser Quer. Ports TCP/UDP 27015 - 27015

Game Port: TCP,UDP 7778 - 7778
Final Notes & Server Registration.
Before we end make sure you have authorized your server. The simplest way of getting your IP is going to Bing or Google and typing in What is my IP this will pull your Public IP address.
copy that down and fill out the server reg. For don't forget to fill out server Auth user name and Password in the AA server setup.
Register Server Here[www.americasarmy.com]

Note that if your IP Address changes you will have to re-register Your server.

If you found this useful or have any questions or Concerns please post it in the comments.

I would recommend this tutorial for hosting just 1 server. Multiple servers I recommend running different folders for each indivdual server and running the parameters on the shortcut to your desktop (AAGame.exe) and running them that way. Reason being is I had problems with running multiple servers on the GUI provided because it was running off 1 AAGame.ini

UMMs is pretty easy, AAPG/AAGame/Config the AASteamUGCManager.ini ServerSubscribedItems=(IdString=#########) Add this line of code under [SteamUGCManager.SteamUGCManager] The numberpounds (or hashtags for those people) replace them with the numbers you get when you look at a workshop item and copy the url and paste it shows 9 numbers

Now the real issues come with UMMs
