A Walkthrough for Muv-Luv Extra and Unlimited.

Guide Introduction

Hi, and welcome to my Muv-Luv Walkthrough guide.

This guide was created simply because I wanted to.

It is my honest opinion that you should play the game without using any walkthroughs in order to fully enjoy the game. Also, it is quite easy to progress and "capture" your heroine, as mostly you would just need to select what the most beneficial choice for that particular heroine.

I do understand that for many first timers, after reading comments about Extra, would want to only play through Sumika and Meiya's Extra routes (I'm the same as well). However, in my second playthrough, I have found that playing the remaining heroines' Extra routes are pretty awesome as well. I recommend you complete the others, as once you reach Unlimited and Alternative, some characters showing up would make more sense. (IMHO)

As a genenral note, I suggest to SAVE at every decision point.
Also, this is the normal version, not the 18+.

Muv-Luv Extra Walkthrough

Shirogane Takeru is a typical high school student with a lazy attitude and a love for the virtual reality mecha battle game Valgern-on. Even though he didn’t really wanted it, he is popular in school mainly due to his daily fights with his childhood friend (Sumika) attracting too much attention. His life takes an unexpected turn when he finds a girl (Meiya) he doesn’t remember ever meeting in his bed one morning. Whom later revealed to be the heiress of one of the biggest conglomerates. She immediately moves to his house and starts changing his life for the good with her one-track-mind and unlimited resources…

These choices appear during the scene with Sumika at the hill, after Tsukiyomi left, giving you 15 minutes to decide.

  How to be indecisive to unlock that choice? Well...
  
  1. Whenever lunch is presented to you, either eat both, or run away.
     
  2. Try to always alternate between choosing Sumika and Meiya.
     
  3. When the four of you (Sumika/Meiya/Mikoto/Takeru) go to the arcade on 10/31, you can check who you have higher affection points with. Whoever will be your partner during the battle means that she has more affection points. Adjust accordingly.
     
  4. During 11/3, in the scene where you first find the cat, whoever comes talk to you will mean she's the girl you have the highest affection with. Adjust accordingly.

Jinguuji was correct, the only thing impacting which heroine you will be with at the ending is savepoint D. For Ayamine Kei, just pick the option for Ayamine in that option select, and you will end up with Ayamine. There is no need to load up save point C ever in this guide.

For anyone wondering, Marimo route is real and you can get it, but only if you apply the Director's Cut patch.
Well, it's not REALLY a route because it ends suddenly after the H scene and there's no proper ending. But it does explain why Marimo romance option is a bad idea and why every boyfriend dumped her so far.

Small error, in yuukos route you put as the title "Welcome to Mikoto's Capture Route! [Unlimited]"
instead of "Welcome to Yuuko's Capture Route! [Unlimited]".

And in the guide index in the right, it says "Mikito" instead of "Mikoto" in the unlimited routes.

@906260326: Hi, I think you will need to contact Sekai Project for that. Or maybe, you can try to go to your Library, and see if you can still install the old version? If not, then you'll definitely have to contact Sekai Project to help you with the key to the new game.
