Nuln Ironsides - Lore Friendly Unit mod

LORE

" The ‘Ironsides’ are drawn from the guards and apprentices of the renowned Imperial Gunnery School. Clad in heavy armour and armed with master-wrought firearms, the Nuln Ironsides are one of the most widely respected and well equipped Handgunner regiments in the Empire. "Led by Castellan-Engineer Jubal Falk these heavily armored handgunners are a force to be reckoned with.
Out of the black choking smoke of Nuln emerges a renowned regiment ready to fight for their City State.
They proudly wear the black uniforms and feathered helms of the City of Nuln.


MOD

- This mod adds the new unit "Nuln Ironsides" which can be recruited by the Empire factions in custom battle or by the Empire/Wissenland factions in Campaign.
- In order to recruit the unit in Campaign you must hold the City of Nuln and have built the "Cannon Foundry of Nuln" unique building along with a Gunsmith. There is a campaign cap of 6 units.
- Ironsides typically wear black uniforms and feathered helms, some sources say crimson and black but overall total black is the most concensus on the matter.

UNIT

- Because of their plate armour and master wrought guns the unit has an armour of 70 and increased missile damage.
- The Ironsides are generally more experienced than state handgunner regiments and have a little better melee skill as a result, don't expect them to beat a full unit of swordsmen but they are a decent melee combatant and can hold their own when out of ammunition.
- Their slightly larger calibre weapon means they carry a few less rounds than regular handgunners.
- Better armor and weapons comes at a price, they cost 800 to recruit and 189 upkeep per turn.

@Lopeta Sorry Lopeta but I haven't been updating the mod for quite a while. It won't work anymore. Maybe some day I will come back to it.

Sorry, but it crashes my game, no matter the graphic options neither if I'm playing a custom battle or campaign battle as either Reikland (The Empire) or Wissenland

(could of course make an overhaul and add them to the workshop...but would prefer not to | yet, you'd get special thanks and the whole thingie stuff ^^. but ppl seem to favor more OP sh*t nowadays; like KNIGHTS on foot and stuff...so yeah)

First off, supreme & great mod and if you don't mind, I took the liberty to incorporate them in my very own personal WH2 unit mod..because this seems to be the only "Nuln Ironsides" - mod, that actually is lore-friendly and doesn't use stupid enhancements (things/stuff/aká sh*t) like Gromril armor (90+) or give them the use of repeater rifles, which is only limited to the leading Master engineer.
Switched only the rifles to the RoR-version, because they should have the ability to use mercury ammo in 8th ed.
As said, only for personal use but you got your kudos and fav'ed alike, if you don't mind. :KneelingBow:

@Storeslem Dead. Don't wait for it. If I ever do get around to it I will re- release. Sorry man I would like to do now but I don't have the ability at the moment.
