All Bro Unlocks, Updated for Broforce Forever!!

This is a simple guide that tells you how many rescues you need for each unlock, and will constantly be updated when new bros come out!

Introduction

Welcome to my Broforce Guide. Have you ever been playing from scratch, without any unlocks, and thought to yourself "Hmm... I wonder how many unlocks I still need to get (insert bro name)"? Well now you no longer have to ponder and guess how much you need, now you can just look at this guide and find out for yourself!

Unlocks, Part one

Now onto the unlocks. Beside each bro is the amount of unlocks required. The number in the brackets tells you how many bros you need after unlocking the previous bro! Also, the x(number) in the description tells you how many specials it has. For example, Rambro has 6 specials (x6).

1.Rambro - Default (This is the bro you start with)
Shoots a normal gun that shoots decently fast. Special is a grenade x6.

2.Brommando - 1 ( +1 ) rescues
Shoots a rocket launcher that completely obliterates the landscape. Special is a whole swarm of missiles x3.

3.B. A. Broracus - 3 ( +2 ) rescues
Uses a Flamethrower, which is medium to short range. Special is a fire grenade x3.

4.Brodell Walker - 5 ( +2 ) rescues
Shoots a powerful shotgun. Special is a missile strike x3.

5.Bro Hard - 8 ( +3 ) rescues
Shoots from two guns, accumulating a very fast fire rate. Special is a flashbang which stuns enemies x3.

6.MacBrover - 11 ( +3 ) rescues
Throws Dynamite at enemies, able to attach it to walls and enemies. Special is an explosive chicken/turkey x3.

7.Brade - 15 ( +4 ) rescues
Sword Wielding. Very fast speed. Special is a dash which obliterates everything in it's path x3.

8.Bro Dredd - 20 ( +5 ) rescues
Fires a gun, the bullets slightly home onto enemies. Slow fire rate. Special is a controllable missile x3.

9.Bro in Black - 25 ( +5 ) rescues
Shoots an extremely powerful Ray Gun, which explodes terrain. Special stuns enemies x3.

10.Dirty Brory - 31 ( +6 ) rescues
Uses a revolver with six shots in it, after those six shots he needs to reload. Special is a molotov x3.

11.Brominator - 37 ( +6 ) rescues
Shoots from a minigun with an extremely high fire rate. Special allows him to turn invincible from MOST things, except from falling off the map and getting crushed x1.

12.Brobocop - 46 ( +9 ) rescues
Has a chargable gun which shoots several projectiles at a time. Useful when attacking a group from surprise. Special allows the user to select specific targets, which then get homing bullets shot at them x3.

13.Indianna Brones - 56 ( +10 ) rescues
Uses a whip, which stuns enemies and can be used to grapple around the map. Special is a high powered revolver with 6 shots.

14.Ash Brolliams - 65 ( +9 ) rescues
Ash Brolliams uses one of the most powerful weapons in the game. His special gives him increased speed for a while and invincibility to some explosions, as he tears through armies with his chainsaw x1.

15.Mr. Anderbro - 75 ( +10 ) rescues
Melee fighter that is able to dodge and fly. Special allows him to deflect bullets x3.

16.Boondock Bros - 87 ( +12 ) rescues
2 bros with a really fast fire rate. Once one dies, he can be resurected using the special, or if both are alive it can summon a third bro, which unfortunately is uncontrollable. You can use the special once.

Unlocks, Part two

Would make the unlocks all one part, but I hit the maximum character limit, so I decided to split it into two parts.

17.Brochete - 99 ( +12 ) rescues
Throws Machete, as if the name wasn't a dead givaway. Special allows him to shot LOADS of machetes in a chosen direction x3.

18.Bronan the Brobarian - 115 ( +16 ) rescues
Melee fighter with a sword. Special allows him to shockwave the ground with his sword, destroying anything in his path x5.

19.Ellen Ripbro - 132 ( +17 ) rescues
Uses some sort of lazer gun, which explodes targets after enough shots. Special is a huge wave of fire that comes out of his gun x3.

20.Brocketeer - 145 ( +13 ) rescues
A gliding character, that can fly for a period of time. He uses a gun with a medium fire rate. Special allows him to fly into the air, then fly towards the ground diagonally destroying the ground x6.

21.Time Bro - 160 ( +15 ) rescues
Uses a very fast gun. Special allows him to slow down time x2.

22.Broniversal Soldier - 175 ( +15 ) rescues
Shoots a powerful gun with a slow fire rate. The gun can kill multiple enemies with one bullet. The special allows him to resurrect the dead, even enemies, allowing them to fight for him. The enemies are controlled the same way the main character is. All of your "followers" die once Broniversal soldier dies x6.

23.Colonel James Broddock - 193 ( +18 ) rescues
Shoots a grenade launcher. Special shoots a cluster bomb x3.

24.Cherry Broling - 222 ( +29 ) rescues
Cherry is a very slow character, but her gun allows her to stay in the air for a while, as she shoots from her leg. She can lay down (S or Down arrow) to shoot straight ahead. Special is a missile that shoots from her leg x3.

25.Bro Max - 249 ( +27 ) rescues
Shoots incidinery ammo which sets things on fire. Special is a boomerang x1, which can be picked up after being thrown.

26.The Brode - 274 ( +25 ) rescues
Uses a sword as a melee weapon. Special allows the user to literally punch something so hard that it explodes x6.

27.Double Bro Seven - 300 ( +26 ) rescues
This bro uses a silenced gun that allows the user to instantly kill most enemies. He has 4 different specials. His first one is a wine glass, he just throws it at enemies. Pretty ineffective if you ask me, but if he does hit something with it, it would usually kill it, unless it's a more powerful enemy like the bruiser. The second gadget is a jetpack, he just flies into the sky, not very high. The third is a lazer. He shoots a lazer from what appears to be his watch, but it's not very powerful. The last is my favourite, he puts a terrorist mask on his head, and no enemy terrorist recognises him as an enemy. Unfortunately, he takes it off after about 5 seconds.

28.The Brodator - 326 ( +26 ) rescues
Shoots a chargable spear that impales enemies. The spears can stick to walls and can be walked on. A charged spear can skewer many enemies and send them flying off screen. His special lets him not be spotted by enemies, while throwing spears at enemies once he is close enough to them x2.

29.Broheart - 350 ( +24 ) rescues
Melee fighter that uses his sword/his fists. His sword can be thrown with the melee button, dealing damage. Without the sword he just uses his fists. The sword is retreivable. His special allows him to scream "FREEDOM!" as his speed increases and enemies run from him x3. Don't get too carried away, as bruisers still tend to shoot at you sometimes.

30.The Brofessional - 374 ( +24 ) rescues
This guy uses a gun, much like the one Double Bro Seven uses. It has a silencer and instantly kills most enemies. He can use his melee to vanish and appear on the other side of walls, surfaces and floors, killing any enemy he teleports to. His special allows him to select enemies in a straight line, which then get snipes. He can use his special x3.

31.Broden - 400 ( +26 ) rescues
Shoots electricity from his fists which stun enemies, and eventually makes them explode. His special allows him to lunge into many enemies at once, killing them. He can use this attack x3.

32.The Brolander - 420 ( +20 ) rescues
Brolander uses a sword. The special thing about brolander, is he doesn't start with any special. He can get 1 from ammo crates, and also gets some special from doing combos using his sword. He can hold up to 6 specials. His special allows him to zap everything around him. Once brolander dies when he still has some special, all his special gets consumed and he comes back to life.

33.Snake Broskin - 440 ( +20 ) rescues
Snake recently got buffed, majorly. He uses two guns similar to those Brofessional uses. He has a very high fire rate. Snake also can glide by holding jump button (W or Up arrow) while in mid air. His special allows him to throw a hologram, which 1. Distracts enemies, 2. He can teleport to and 3. If he dies while a hologram is active on screen, he will be teleported to that hologram.
He has 3 holograms.

34.Tank Bro - 460 ( +20 ) rescues
This is my favourite bro. She uses a highly powered Rocket Launcher, MUCH stronger than the one bromando uses, but the rockets don't travel far. Her special allows her to summon a tank x1(Don't stand too close to where you summon it as it can crush you) and this tank can be used by ALL bros. The tank has two modes which can be switched using the Special Key while in the tank. Artillery Mode allows the tank to shoot from an angle, useful for getting something higher up, and the tank also has regular mode, which shoots the rocket straight forward. This one doesn't travel all that far, but still comes in useful in different situations. The tank itself can jump, and has a dash which can be used 3 times. You double tap in the direction you want to go, and the tank quickly dashes in that direction, destroying terrain and killing enemies. The tank can also kill enemies just by running them over. The tank is indestructible from explosions and bullets, but can be destroyed when things such as Barrels, Boxes, Crates and so on and so fourth fall on it.

35.Bro Lee - 480 ( +20 ) rescues
This Bro is melee, all melee. But the only way reason he is a good character is because of his fast speed. He can dash, like Mr Anderbro, in any direction but also uses nunchucks, and they can also give him a tiny dash. His special allows him to go on a huge combo x2, hitting things such as bodies and enemies. The combo breaks once he doesn't hit anything. Keep in mind you can hit dead bodies, as they still carry on the combo. The combo allows him to pass through terrain.

The unlock requirements to unlock some bros after Broden have been changed at some point; the guide has been changed accordingly.

Broforce Forever!

Unlocks required for the new characters part of the Broforce Forever Update!

36. Desperabro - 500 ()
Wields two shotguns! When standing still, he plays a tune that causes enemies to dance. His special summons some friends that play music with him, and start shooting at bad guys when you start shooting.

37. Xebro - 520 (+20)
Sword character that also has a chakram. The chakram can be thrown and bounces around, scaring and killing enemies. It ALWAYS returns to you.

38. Demolition Bro - 540 (+20)
Throws a bomb that bounces and can be manually detonated. His special are cryo canisters that freeze anyone within where the canister shatters.

39. Broffy - 560 (+20)
Throws stakes at enemies. Special throws holy fire that harms undead enemies and allows you to revive when you die (I haven't figured out exactly how this mechanic works, your corpse might have to touch the holy fire when you die OR you have to have touched it at some point before dying)

40. Seth Brondle - 580 (+20)
Spits acid at people. He can fly(slowly) if you press space when in midair (note that he cannot vertically upward and can only travel horizontally). He can also climb on ceilings. His special allows him to do a short range teleport that kills enemies.

41. Burt Bromer - 600 (+20)
Fires a heavy sniper rifle. Melee allows him to place dynamite on terrain, or onto enemies when thrown (similar to MacBrover). His special allows you mark enemies and then you fire a single bullet that paths to all those enemies to kill them (it can go through terrain - Beware when standing near explosive barrels as sometimes it has a mind of its own).

BTW: Brominator can survive falling off the map as long as your able to find solid footing before the ability ends
