Step by step

This guide is meant to be serious.
The GRIM CUTLASS has an amazing main gun that fires for 1350 dmg.
It also has an incredibly powerful engine.

Plan the boarding phase carefully with your crew:
The Grim Cutlass will initially by friendly. Boarding crew: Everyone except for the Weapons Specialist.
Get your ship at about 3km so that your shield piercer cannot miss.
Have everyone get into EXOSUITS.
Boarding crew should stay by the teleporter while the Weapons Specialist fires the shield piercer.
Once their shield is down, boarding team teleports to the enemy ship.
Head to ENGINEERING and take out their power. Then head to LIFE SUPPORT and WEAPONS and take those out by firing at them.
Then have the Scientist and another of your crewmen camp the enemy respawn located in the SCIENCE LAB. The captain should use this time to restart the power in engineering and go to claim the ship from the BRIDGE.

Congratulations, you have one of the strongest ships in game!

Senpainick, dude, the Grim Cutlass has been nerfed like 4 years ago (check comments); there is no "best ship" now, just cool niches IIRC.

Grim Cutlass still op because of main turret dealing 1600 dmg in stock and 2400 wth 3 10 level tgt proccessors wich increase weapon damage

FYI, the gun now only does 550 base damage. Additionally, the Cutlass doesn't have any ship bonuses. It does have its huge auxiliary reactor and several extra processor slots, but that's it. All things considered, I'd say the Grim Cutlass is about on par with the standard Intrepid. It's a good all-rounder, but there are better ships for almost every specialized role.

It is, however, a fantastic stealth ship because it can fully power all of its components with just the aux reactor, which produces no EM signature.

for reference, the Stolen Flagship is actually The Estate-as far as i can Tell, it was stolen right out of the shipyard-Docking clamps included :)
