Rin is a character from Touhou, a series of popular japanese games involving filling your screen with colorful and deadly projectiles.

Rin is a feline demon with an energetic and positive personality. Her main occupation is carrying away the dead into The Underworld where she tosses them into the Hell of Blazing Fires to rekindle it and make it's power stronger.

One night, she was driving away vengeful spirits from the underground until she discovered a strange field, filled with corpses. As she was about to collect those unfortunate souls, a massive explosion occured at the site.

She has gone missing ever since...

[Servant of The Underworld]

Your cat senses activate at Night, becoming nearly immune to The Darkness.
You are also slightly more resistant to Sanity draining effects.
You get slightly increased damage against most enemies.

Your night vision is very poor.
Becoming hungry will negatively affect your powers.

[Quick Reflexes]

You walk and run around slightly faster.
You are slightly more resistant to slow and cold effects.

The effect becomes weaker the hungrier you are.

[Fishy Love]

Eating fish restores a moderate amount of every stat.
Each fish will also permanently increase your Maximum Health by 1.
Cooked fish restores all stats for twice the amount.

After you hit the Maximum HP cap, the effect no longer works.
You get hungry a lot faster.
The effectivness of your other perks is based on how hungry you are.

-Weakneses-

The positive effects of your perks will turn into negative effects if you are hungry.

Perks provide very small stat boosts and they are only relevant in the early stages of the game.

While the Darkness no longer instantly kills you, you still can't see anything at night.
Don't abuse it, you are competely exposed and vulnerable when the lights go out.

You have to rely on fishing as a primary tool for survival.
You get hungry often so you have to make a choice between eating to restore only Hunger right away or keep the fish for a long time for possible enemy encounters.

It will take a lot of time and effort to get enough additional health for it to start making a difference.
There's a limit to how much you can increase your Maximum Health and after you hit it, the fish no longer gives any additional benefits.

- Frequently Asked Questions -

[Bug?] This custom character is slightly taller than the default Don't Starve characters, so if you change out the clothes for the body, the head may appear as floating in the air. It's not really a bug, the game doesn't properly support larger character models, it's not easily fixable by me. I'm sorry, but just deal with it and stick to the default torso.
