DRIVER PARALLEL LINES: FROM A KID TO A KING

The STORY in short

The protagionist is the eighteen-year old T.K (the Kid) who works as a driver and lives with his friend and mechanic Ray. Soon he becomes part of a team consisting of himself and 4 other criminals, all led by a crime boss named Corrigan.

The aim of this organization is to distribute cocaine in New York, but this is not possible because of the Colombian drug lord, Martinez, who has the power on the trades of drugs in the city. So they decide to have Martinez kidnapped; but Corrigan changes the plan, killing Martinez and shooting T.K , who will be arrested and sentenced to 28 years.

Released in 2006, T.K decides to get revenge on his old gang. Maria, a woman who had worked for one of the members of the gang, reveals herself as Martinez's daughter so the pair started to work together in order to kill Corrigan. At the end, they manage to catch Corrigan, who is given over to Maria, who promises to give him a slow.

The SETTING: New York

I absolutely loved both the 1978 and the 2006 versions of the city. They aren't made to represent perfectly the city, but for sure they
give a nostalgic view of an alive city.






The total amount of roadways comes to over 300 km (200+ miles)! An important role is also played by the New York City Subway that runs from Manhattan to Coney Island.

WEAPONS

• 1978

This is the player's standard weapon, and has unlimited ammo.





It usually one-shot but it has a lower fire-rate than the pistol.





Has a massive rate of fire, yet it loses its effectivness at range.




more accuracy over and great range



it's perfect for close range, and because of its spread, it allows the user to be less accurate.

Well..it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ granade launcher

• 2006

standard weapon. It has unlimited ammo.





A more powerful version of the standard pistol with a reduced rate of fire and capacity.




Really good at close range but not really effective at range.




Slower rate of fire than the previous weapon, but with the advantage of more accuracy over a greater range.




Slower rate of fire, yet greater range and accuracy.



Auto-shotgun. At close range, nothing can match its stopping power: its spray also allows the user to be less accurate.



The RPG is similar to the grenade launcher, the main difference being that the grenades are faster and explode on contact.




Very slow reloading, but its large caliber and rate of fire means nothing survives.

Just highlight all and download. Once you have the folder, rename it to MUSIC/Music and then go to the Driver Parallel Lines directory through Program Files (x86) - Steam - steamapps - common - Driver Parallel Lines and just place the music folder in there, if it asks to replace do so. However, it should only add songs in.

For this guide under the soundtrack section, you should add in the mod link to adding the songs that were cut on PC that are on the PS2 version. It really is a must have, just replace the MUSIC folder in the game files with the MUSIC mod folder
