The speed is slow-er, in EBGTTR; however player speed is also determined by your FPS.
Use the 2020+ guide if you're a nVidia card user, and set your "Low Latency mode" to "ultra."
When holding down the run button, you will feel as if you're going TOO fast at times. I honestly only used the run button about 75% of the time due to this.
Cheers.
when your browser shows the XML structure, you should be able to right click in the content area and use "Save as" - however, if this won't work, you can also just copy the file's contents to a notepad and save it as a *.ct file.
I can't download the .CT file. When I click on the link you provided, I end up in a page that just shows the xml file with the following message:
"This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below."
I tried copying and pasting the url and also downloading the link with a right click, but nothing
The software itself is around for a long time and well known: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheat_Engine
Sounds legit.
Wish you to find what you're looking for, and furthermore a great time in this great game.
The low movement speed is, without any question, a measure to extend the time someone needs to finish the game. While I usually honour artistic freedom, it's messing with the gameplay too much in my opinion, as playing the game doesn't feel great due to that limitation. It's just too slow by any mean.
One could argue that this is exactly what a normal person would do (I guess if someone were to explore this scenery IRL, no one would run like a idiot) - but this however doesn't work well in a game. At least in my opinion.
If you're fine with the way the game is, this guide isn't for you. But for some people, including me, the low movement speed was infuriating.
Maybe, i don't know, to prevent you from running through the game?
