The Following Achievements are completly Story driven and can't be missed ignored or skipped. So no worries here.

On the Road Again - Start the Game

follow the Story for these:
Journal Get!
Now For The Book Report
First Piece of Treasure
Second Piece of Treasure
Met Jumbo
Third Piece of Treasure
Up All Night Till The Sun
And they all lived happily ever after…
...including the trio

Post-Story Achievement

Some Actions to get those can be done prior to finishing the Game, but they did pop up for me as I finished the Story. So I recommend to do this after the actual playthrough of the Story.


SPEED SPEED LOVER
Turned on skip mode for all messages -> Skipping itself is not necessary, only turning it on in the Options Menu

You Really Do Care!
Checked out the credits on your own time -> simply click Credits.. Nothing more.

Slow and steady wins the race
Set the character speed below 10 characters per second

Look With Your Special Eyes!
Tried out the hi-contrast textbox. Who knows, you might like it! ->
Set the Contrast to max.

Extras Menu

Modern Art
Checked out the guest art section. Now all it needs is a glass case.

Born just in time for dank memes
Turned on Goofball Mode -> switch can be found in perferences, but it's like an extra only visible after a full run.

You know what you did

This actually requires to install the adult patch or adjust the lenny file in the game folder switching a "False" to "True" (keep the capital letter in mind, or the game won't start).

Note: I did not need the adult patch to get this to work, but I did not even need to click on a image (possibly through my savegames) so simply open the gallery did it for me, even unlocked the next one at that moment - since I also did that before the remastered version came out.

Desert RV
Complete the Game in Extreme difficulty and in Goofball mode

• This includes "wait times" as in some mobile games you might know.
  
• after the backlash the minimum wait time was reduced to "after the first 8h wait" so in total minimum 12h
  
• auto or skip will NOT work!!
  
• the events unfold in real-time, and you need to *act* between the waits, otherwise the story will pause there.

the "old" new facts are still valid to beat this game mode though, but it's not neccessary to get the achievement anymore.

• The longest wait take up to 18h
  
• all waits combined will take 170h

(if you want the afk way, you need to wait and have a autoclicker running all the time...)

P.S. if some of the Extra-Related Achievements won't unlock for you

since it does happen that this Game will not unlock Text-Speed Achievements or so for you, there is a "workaround" for the trigger that might help:

Any idea how to get the “get a feeling so complicated” achievement? I’ve finished the main game few times but decided to come back to the game after few years just to finish off the achievements.. I’ve tried doing what’s on the guide but when I start the new game with the Goofball Mode on, in settings I can’t see the language to change it to.. has this been deleted? Any help is gladly appreciated!

Just spent several hours screwing around with the code, only to realize that I needed the jumbo achievement
