If you do it, he helps keep the road clear for the other traders. especially once you get to lvl 20+ when its all Deathclaws / Large Rad Scorps / and Enclave. I usually give them one of the alien rifles from Mothership Zeta...or give them plasma. Helps them take down Enclave once they start spawning all over. I know one enclave check point spawns right in there path at Caterberry. So it helps.

Hm, hadn't thought of that. Or i did think of that and figured that he's not important enough to warrent such an act.

Reverse pickpocket power armor / good gun / and like 20+ stim packs...ands he's rather tough. I do it with him & all the roaming traders. Keeps them alive. =)
